Abstract The persistence of global concerns regarding the environmental effects cement production, particularly its significant contribution to CO 2 emissions, led search for different supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs). Hence, this research utilized date palm ash (DPA) as an SCM produce concrete. Nano eggshell powder (NESP) was also incorporated additive binder in concrete hasten pozzolanic reaction DPA used replace between 0 and 40% by volume, NESP added dosage 4% weight binders....

The construction industry has a potential to incorporate various agro-industrial waste for development of sustainable materials which will eventually results in cleaner and healthy environment. This research emphasizes on incorporation wastes such as Rice husk ash (RHA), fly (FA), copper slag (CS), bottom (BA) glass powder (GP) develop ecofriendly alkali-activated blocks. studies the effect blending alumina-silica rich byproduct with influence resulting oxide ratios thermal, mechanical...

Lean management is a strategic approach that used in construction industry, specifically aims at minimizing and ultimately eliminating non-value-adding activities, commonly referred to as waste, within projects. However, an increase non-value added (NVA) activities the precast industry has potential diminish both productivity efficiency. The aim of this paper investigate use lean tools for NVA industry. A comprehensive literature review, study identified Unnecessary Inventory (UI), Waiting...

Abstract Roller-compacted concrete pavement (RCCP) is a brittle material with low tensile strength that does not contain steel or dowel bars. This, in addition to the rigidity of RCCP, causes degradation cracking before RCCP reaches its service life. To improve performance crumb rubber (CR) can be used as an aggregate. Hence, this study, CR was replace 0, 10, 20, and 30% fine aggregate RCCP. mitigate adverse effect on properties nano-silica (NS) added by weight cement proportions 1, 2, 3%....

Abstract This study investigates the environmental and mechanical performance of eco-friendly concrete using date palm ash (DPA) eggshell powder (ESP) as cementitious materials. Concrete mixes were made by substituting conventional cement with DPA at varying levels (10, 20, 30, 40%) adding ESP in dosages 1, 2, 3, 4%. Mechanical strengths water absorption evaluated. The optimal mix, comprising 20% 2% ESP, achieved a compressive strength 57.53 MPa, demonstrating advancement 41% over control...

The construction industry is growing with the shortfall issues of productivity, functionality, and cost. Precast has significant potential to address these by incorporating lean principles. Lean focuses on enhancing value at every stage process. By combining two approaches, can effectively tackle challenges. This research aims achieve main objectives: (1). To establish a connection between tools non-value added (NVA) activities, (2). prioritize based their relevance major NVA activities....
