Twenty fungus and ten bacterium isolates of microorganisms associated with Fusarium wilt disease infected cumin plants were obtained from samples collected different locations Assiut Governorate. On the basis a preliminary antagonism test conducted in vitro, 3 fungal (Trichoderma harzianum, T. humatum, viride) one bacterial (Bacillus subtilis) isolate screened. These antagonists further screened by artificially infested potting-soil bioassay including commercial formulation (biocide 'Plant...
pH at 5.5 supplemented with 50 g/l sucrose produced the highest significant value of rooting (85%) and enhanced root formation in 7.5 days. The rooted plantlets were transplanted into potting substrate successfully acclimatized laboratory then transferred to field a survival rate 55%. After 6 month, reached ~ 22 cm length 5.50 leaves/plant

A study was initiated through various experiments aiming to optimize different stages including callus induction, shoot regeneration, multiplication, rooting and acclimatization of Petunia hybrida. Callogenesis from leaves in vitro-grown seedling observed on MS medium supplemented with 0.1 mg/l NAA combined BAP at concentrations (0.0, 0.25, 0.5 1.0 mg/l). The results indicated that the combination resulted highest percentage for explants producing (40%). Callus transferred regeneration...
SummaryShoot-tip explants were excised from axenic and non-axenic plant cultures of two cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) landrace lines Assiut (ASS) Qina (QIN), Egypt. Explants cultured on MS (Murashige Skoog, 1962) medium supplemented with different concentrations benzyladenine (BA) or kinetin. The landraces performed similarly throughout the study. Shoot-tip superior to those prepared non-axenically grown plants regarding percentage that produced micro-shoots number proliferated. maximum...
Axial symptoms in Parkinson's disease (PD) often respond poorly to pharmacological treatment. We evaluated whether combining repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and spinal (rSMS) is more effective than rTMS alone improving axial other motor disabilities PD.
A PROTOCOL was developed for micropropagation of Quisqualis indica (Combretaceae).Media culture establishment, multiplication, rooting and hardening were studied. For establishment MS medium supplemented with BAP 1.5 mg/l plus GA 3 1 produced the highest number shoots/explant (3.43) among various tested concentrations .For rooting, ½ without any growth regulators effective formed more (6.00) longer roots (13.00 cm).Plantlets successfully acclimatized in a mixture perlite, peat-moss...
Limited information is available on response of somatic tissues to differentiate and develop plantlets in vitro from callus culture cumin (Cuminum cyminum L.) . In the present study, seeds local cultivar were germinated Murashige Skoog medium (MS) without plant growth regulators. Different types explant growing seedling (cotyledonary leaves hypocotyl) cultured MS medium. The contained different concentrations 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D) either alone or plus Kinetin. Differential...
Rice straw and sawdust were wetted for certain periods (0, 15, 30, 45, 60 days) compared with peat moss as growing media pothos (Scindapsus aureus L.) Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides Ellis).Nutrient element analysis of the composted materials showed a noticeable increase in N, P, K contents rice result composting process. This improvement was more obvious where nitrogen content endproduct reached 3 folds that raw material. The increment reflected on lowering C/N ratio turn better growth...
Abstract In a field trial involving four tepary lines ( Phaseolus acutifolius A. Gray), NE#8A and NE#19 produced higher grain yield than NE#5 NE#7 under both well watered drought conditions. However, is considered more resistant in terms of sensitivity index. Greenhouse investigations on intact plants indicated no differences among the leaf stem dry mass, area. Root depth did not strictly differentiate lower‐yielding from higher‐yielding lines. contrast to lines, however, ones allocated...
A field experiment was conducted for two successive years to investigate the conventional propagation of Rosa hybrida cv.Eiffel Tower using stem cuttings as affected by growing season year, cutting type and application indol-3-butyric acid(IBA) at different concentrations. Uniform types ~ 15-20 cm long (apical, median basal) were collected from current year growth healthy mother plants. Then bases (2-3 cm) soaked 20 minutes in concentrations IBA (0, 500, 1000 1500 ppm) lower end stuck into...
