The 2SB mixer each polarization employs quadrature configuration. occurs at output IF hybrid that has...
The suitability of AlxGa1−xN epilayers to deposit onto ultra-thin NbN films has been demonstrated for the first time. High quality single-crystal with 5 nm thickness confirmed by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) have deposited in a reproducible manner means reactive DC magnetron sputtering at elevated temperatures and exhibit critical (Tc) as 13.2 K residual resistivity ratio (RRR) ∼1 on hexagonal GaN epilayers. On increasing Al content x epilayer above 20%, gradual...

The primary feature of this quadrature the introduction controllable ripple in operational band by, firstly changing heights input output branches and, secondly, by introducing three waveguide-height discontinuity sections placed...
A novel device, a waveguide-to-microstrip transition with an integrated bias-T, is presented. The substrate-based planar structure comprises waveguide E-probe, shaped as radial line. probe couples the RF field of full-height to microstrip line or directly active component, e.g., transistor diode in mixer direct detector. connected on its wide side another port via specially high impedance that provides RF/DC isolation. This can then be used inject DC and/or extract IF signals. design...
