We study scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector mesons with non-strange strange quantum numbers in the framework of a linear sigma model global chiral $U(N_f)_L \times U(N_f)_R$ symmetry. perform fit meson masses, decay widths, as well amplitudes. The quality is, for hadronic that does not consider isospin-breaking effects, surprisingly good. also investigate question whether scalar $\bar{q}q$ states lie below or above 1 GeV find to be preferred states. Additionally, we describe resonances
A new technique is applied to data collected at the $\ensuremath{\psi}(3770)$ resonance derive charmed-$D$-meson branching fractions without relying on measurement of $D$-production cross sections. Measurements are presented for three decay modes ${D}^{0} ({K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}, {D}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}, \mathrm{and} {K}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ and four...
The chiral phase transition of the strongly interacting matter is investigated at nonzero temperature and baryon chemical potential mu_B within an extended (2+1) flavor Polyakov constituent quark-meson model which incorporates effect vector axial mesons. fermionic vacuum thermal fluctuations computed from grand taken into account in curvature masses scalar pseudoscalar parameters are determined by comparing tree-level decay widths with experimental values a chi^2-minimization procedure...
The existence of quark matter inside the heaviest neutron stars has been topic numerous recent studies, many them suggesting that a phase transition to strongly interacting conformal is feasible. Here we examine this hybrid star scenario using soft and stiff hadronic model, constituent model with three flavours, applying smooth crossover between two. Within Bayesian framework, study effect up-to-date constraints from observations on equation-of-state parameters various observables. Our...
Interactions of 200-GeV/c protons and antiprotons on hydrogen, argon, xenon targets were studied with a streamer-chamber vertex spectrometer at the CERN SPS. Results multiplicities, rapidity distributions, correlations are presented compared predictions current models.
Single-phase Si1−x−yGexSny alloys with random diamond cubic structures are created on Si(100) via ultrahigh vacuum chemical vapor deposition reactions of SnD4 SiH3GeH3 at 350 °C. Commensurate heteroepitaxy is facilitated by Ge1−xSnx buffer layers, which act as templates that can conform structurally and absorb the differential strain imposed more rigid Si Si–Ge–Sn materials. The crystal structure, elemental distribution morphological properties Si1−x−yGexSny/Ge1−xSnx heterostructures...
Following a major shortage of 99Mo in the 2009–2010 period, concern grew that aging reactor production facilities needed to be replaced. Most producers were using highly enriched 235U (HEU) as target material. The Organisation for Economic Co-...Read More
We compare multiplicities as well rapidity and transverse momentum distributions of protons, pions kaons calculated within presently available transport approaches for heavy ion collisions around 1 AGeV. For this purpose, three reactions have been selected: Au+Au at 1.48 AGeV Ni+Ni 1.93
We present an analysis of the decay J/ψ→γ4π in final states γπ+π−π+π− and γπ+π0π−π0. The branching fractions obtained are B(J/ψ→γπ+π−π+π−)= (3.05±0.08±0.45)×10−3 B(J/ψ→γπ+π0π−πo)=( 8.3±0.2±3.1)×10−3 for m4π less than 2 GeV/c2. 4π invariant-mass distributions extend from 1.0 to 3.0 GeV/c2, showing peaks at approximately 1.55 1.8 In state we find that ≊50% events below GeV/c2 pseudoscalar ρρ, product fraction which is determined be &→ρρ)= (4.7±0.3±0.9)×10−3. No other significant ρρ component...
Pairs of $\ensuremath{\tau}$ leptons produced at $\sqrt{s}=3.77$ GeV have been studied in $e\ensuremath{\mu}$, $\mathrm{ee}$, and $\ensuremath{\mu}\ensuremath{\mu}$ final states. The leptonic branching ratios measured to be $B(\ensuremath{\tau}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}e\ensuremath{\nu}\ensuremath{\nu})=(18.2\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.5)%$...
We analyze the formation and decay properties of nucleon resonances formed in heavy-ion collisions at 1--2 GeV/u within a microscopic transport approach. In case Au+Au reactions density \ensuremath{\Delta} reaches 0.15 ${\mathrm{fm}}^{\mathrm{\ensuremath{-}}3}$ central cell for time period order 10 fm/c such that one can legitimately speak about resonance matter. The lifetime \ensuremath{\Delta}'s is found to be shortened high by only 20% due in-medium channel...
The existence of quark matter inside the cores heavy neutron stars is a possibility which can be probed with modern astrophysical observations. We use vector and axial-vector meson extended quark-meson model to describe in core stars. discover that an additional parameter constraint necessary ensure chiral restoration at high densities. By investigating hybrid star sequences various sets, we show low sigma masses are needed fulfill upper radius constraints maximum mass stable only slightly...
