Wound management involves repeated clinical trips and procedures of lab tests over days. To eliminate this time lag provide real-time monitoring a wound's progress, we have designed an enzymatic biosensor for determining uric acid (UA) in wound fluid. Uric Acid is biomarker, having established correlation with wounds their healing. This electrochemical comprises enzyme urate oxidase (uricase, UOx) entrapped polyvinyl alcohol based cationic polymer enhanced stability. Results show that the...

Background: Despite the development of numerous wound treatment alternatives, 25% to 50% leg ulcers and >30% foot are not fully healed after 6 months treatment. Autologous skin grafting is a time-tested therapy for these wounds; however, creation new in donor area yields considerable limitation this procedure. Innovation: Fractional autologous full-thickness (FFTSG) technique wherein multiple small grafts (FTSGs) harvested with possibly minor donor-site comorbidities. The first device used...

Psoriasis is associated with multiple comorbidities. In this retrospective cohort analysis, we compared the comorbidities in patients who received biologic treatments those conventional treatments. Our data indicates that biologics may be lower rates of comparison to therapy. J Drugs Dermatol. 2023;22(5): doi:10.36849/JDD.7119.

Abstract Venous leg ulcers (VLU) comprise about 70% of lower wounds and cost more than 14 billion USD per year. Patients with VLU are often admitted to the hospital; however, epidemiological study this important patient subset is challenged by lack validated database search protocol.
