Examination of sera from 86 travellers to Britain tropical Africa disclosed evidence past infection with 10 identifiable viruses, which the most important were O'nyong-nyong, dengue, chikungunya, and Ntaya. In this personal reflection, as a Family Medicine resident at an Academic Center in Northeast Florida, well being chronic illness patient myself, I explore the notion of dying alone and away from family.
