The influence of particles on the external jet flame generated by 18650 lithium-ion batteries during thermal runaway is considered. A model that employed multi-component Navier-Stokes equations to consider gas-phase flow, and used Lagrangian method solid particles, was applied describe mixing characteristics flames battery combustion. related combustion process, with without compared analyzed, flow lines outside were obtained. Moreover, effect concentration components elevation height are...

We investigate the Ti-doping effect on charge density wave (CDW) of 1T-TaS2 by combining scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) measurements and first-principle calculations. Although induced phase evolution seems regular with increasing doping concentration (x), an unexpected chiral CDW is observed in sample x = 0.08, which Ti atoms almost fully occupy central Ta clusters. The emergence proposed to be from doping-enhanced orbital order. Only when possible long-range order can trigger phase....

Accurate flight departure time prediction enables the rational use of airport support resources, aprons, and runway promotes implementation collaborative decision-making. In order to accurately predict time, this paper proposes a deep learning-based model. First, analyzes influence different factors on influencing factor. Secondly, establishes gated recurrent unit (GRU) model, considers impact hyperparameters network performance, determines optimal hyperparameter combination through...

The intriguing electronic phase diagram involving charge density wave (CDW) transitions in the $\mathrm{Ta}{\mathrm{S}}_{2}$ system has been widely investigated over past decade, especially for $1T$ and $2H$ phases. $4{H}_{b}\text{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{Ta}{\mathrm{S}}_{2}$, regarded as natural heterostructure that combines characteristics of $2H\text{\ensuremath{-}}\mathrm{Ta}{\mathrm{S}}_{2}$, also focus recently, due to prospects fundamental research device applications. Here, we have...

Cold-mixed epoxy asphalt (CEA) is an emerging energy-saving and environment-friendly material for steel bridge decks, overload roads, airfield pavement. Occasionally, CEA suffers from impact with high strain rates, which will be extremely detrimental to the pavement's safety stability. Since little research deals this dynamic mechanical behavior, study aims clarify performance of mixtures (CEAM) under rates. First, evaluated quasi-static strength evolution by Marshall stability tests. The...

Abstract In environmental conditions, the ultraviolet (UV) light from sunshine will trigger epoxy asphalt (EA) paving materials aging and performance reduction. This work studied influence of UV on structure mechanical cold‐mixed (CEA) to evaluate its mechanism. The chemical CEA was tested by Fourier transform infrared spectra, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, micromorphology observed through fluorescence microscopy. properties were tensile tests dynamic analysis. results indicated that...

Detonation initiation is a prerequisite to normal operations of an oblique detonation engine (ODE), and initiation-assistant measures are imperative in cases failure that occur length-limited combustor under wide-range flight conditions. This study numerically investigates the characteristics waves (ODWs) H2-fueled ODE combustors at Mach numbers Maf or altitudes Hf. Failures ODW observed both low high Hf if no measure taken assist initiation. Through analyses flow fields theoretical...

A three-dimensional (3D) Dirac semimetal (DS) is an analogue of graphene, but with linear energy dispersion in all (three) momentum directions.3D DSs have been a fertile playground discovering novel quantum particles, for example Weyl fermions, solid state systems. Many 3D (e.g., ZrTe5) were theoretically predicted. We report here the results from studies aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy and low temperature magneto-transport measurements exfoliated ZrTe5 thin...
