In this case series report, two patients with cervicogenic headache were selected. After initial positive response to the greater occipital nerve block, pulse radiofrequency (PRF) was performed on position of second cervical ganglion (C2). Two reported 100% pain relief lasting for 6 months. The lateral puncture is safer and more comfortable than posterior site. This study demonstrates effectiveness PRF treat originating from C2 nerve. A compact fiber sensor based on Bragg grating (FBG) embedded in a modal interferometer (MI) for simultaneous measurement of strain and temperature is proposed. A fiber Fabry-Perot interferometer (FPI) based on a bubble-expanded microcavity is investigated in this paper. Due to the expanded bubble microcavity, FPI exhibits high strain sensitivity of 30.66 pm/με. To best our knowledge, such three ten times higher than that FPIs microcavities previously reported. The response with different shapes analyzed, and experimental results are consistent theoretical analysis.
