In order to explore the effect of aggregate type on interface interaction between rubberized asphalt and aggregate, representative molecules base asphalt, limestone (calcite), basalt (augite), granite (quartz) were modeled by a molecular dynamics method. Additionally, asphalt–aggregate models constructed using existing models. The different aggregates was analyzed radial distribution function (RDF), diffusion coefficient adhesion energy density, simulation results verified surface test. show...
For a retaining wall adjacent to rock or rigid structures, existing model test results indicate that the slip soil in limit state can be approximated as trapezoidal wedge. Based on static equilibrium condition of wedge, calculation method for active and passive earth pressures is proposed considers effect backfill width through extreme value analysis. As increases, wedge transitions triangular introducing critical distinguish between finite semi-infinite conditions. cohesionless soils,...

The direct sowing of rapeseed requires shallow tillage for stubble removal, which can cause significant vibrations that impact the seed metering device, thereby affecting quality seeding. This study focuses on a double-row hole-wheel-type device 2BYG-220 type combined planter. Initially, experienced by drill during field operations were measured and analyzed, revealing vibration frequencies predominantly ranged between 0 25 Hz. Consequently, an eccentric wheel–return-spring-type test rig was...
In earthquake-prone areas, pile-anchor structures are widely employed for slope reinforcement due to their reliable performance. Current research has primarily focused on static and quasi-static analyses of slopes reinforced by using structures, with limited investigation into dynamic response. this work, the finite element method (FEM) is used study behavior a system, extended (XFEM) simulate progressive failure processes piles. Three different schemes, which include no support, pile...
To study the influence of consolidation stress ratio and history on 1-D permeability saturated clay, one-dimensional tests were carried out with GDS triaxial device. The results indicated that coefficient void normally overconsolidated clay decreased increase under different ratios but same history. And amount final sample’s compression increased ratio. Under condition history, was smaller than consolidated clay. Besides, difference σdv between pressure <math...
Abstract This paper presents a multi-scale topology optimization method based on neural network (MSTO-NN) for manufacturable gradient lattice structures (MGLS), which takes into account the manufacturing limitation of fine feature size. The establishment model is firstly mechanics-based homogenization to obtain equivalent properties structure with larger cells. To balance computational efficiency and accuracy, prediction constructed using networks, replaces micro-scale finite element...
Current earth pressure calculation methods suffer from certain limitations because they do not consider the effect of retaining wall displacement. In this study, soil behind is assumed to be in a plane strain state, and drawing upon nonlinear elastic constitutive theory, an method proposed, capable considering both axial stress To account for changes modulus with confining pressure, tangent Duncan-Chang model introduced. Depending on direction principal wall, static point, major inflection...
In this paper, we reproduce Engel’s (2011) meta-study of dictator game experiments using his data, and then replicate it our own data. We find that is quite robust. show meta-analyses depend to an extent on the definition independent variables consistent coding studies. This insight pertains in particular take-option, which has produced important questions (Bardsley 2008; List 2007; Guala Mittone 2010) about epistemological inferences one can draw from experiments.
This paper describes the solution about a high embankment and deep soft foundation in typical highway construction ,and analyzes feasibility of program implementation.
