Various functionalized are selectively hydrosilylated to furnish functional β-E in high yields. The catalytic effectiveness, ease catalyst recovery recyclability the polysiloxane stabilized Pt-nanoparticle major achievements this work. Detailed situ characterization using Electron Microscopy controlled poisoning experiments supports participation...
Abstract A mild and low‐temperature synthesis of nylon‐6 is achieved through the ring‐opening polymerization ϵ‐caprolactam using barium σ‐borane complex as catalyst. Due to nature catalyst, this protocol provides an easy means synthesizing nylon‐6, for first time with a precise predictable molecular weight. From various model experiments, it evident that σ‐coordinated boron hydride acts donor in step reaction generate lactamate anions, which then undergo in‐situ remaining caprolactam...
The cooperativity of van der Waals interactions in biomolecules and supramolecular assemblies has drawn significant scientific attention due to its offering seamless opportunities generate new materials. However, the potential such synthetic polymers not yet been explored. In this study, we demonstrate a strategy achieve via enhancement weak designed siloxane copolymer. Segmentation copolymer with specific alkyl chain length (C18) induces interaction among chains, resulting interdigitated as...
