The chondrogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) is mediated by transcription factors and small noncoding RNAs such as microRNAs (miRNAs). Each miRNA initially transcribed a long transcript, which matures to produce -5p -3p strands. It widely believed that the mature functional from any given pre-miRNA, usually strand, functional, while opposing strand degraded. However, recent cartilage literature started show strands for few miRNAs. This study aimed at examining both two...

Summary MicroRNAs are involved in the control of tumour progression and metastatic cascade dynamics. However, role microRNAs distant organ reorganization at premetastatic stage is less clear, although process niche formation a crucial event according to modern concepts dissemination. The present study was investigate expression levels miR‐155, miR‐21, miR‐205 miR‐let7b, as well that their target genes, organs melanoma metastasis stage. both pro‐oncogenic miR‐155 suppressive were found be...

Abstract Background: Multiple myeloma (MM) is an incurable cancer of plasma cells. MM thrives in the bone marrow tumor microenvironment (TME) where several factors sustain growth and viability. TGF-β a multi-functional cytokine elaborated by cells (BM) TME. stimulates progression through promotion catabolic remodeling, IL-6 secretion Th17 T cell development, which act concert to induce osteolytic disease, immune suppression progression. Therefore, we evaluated anti-MM therapeutic potential...

Objective: The Melanoma Screening Day Campaign started in the Russian Federation 2006. In present study, we analyzed 2015-2016 survey questionnaire data acquired from screened individuals city of Krasnoyarsk eastern Siberia, which has a population one million, order to understand level awareness regarding melanoma/ skin cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Methods: Individuals were enrolled screening campaign by mass media advertising. Free whole-body examinations provided doctors,...

[11C]methionine ([11C]Met) was used for cancer imaging based on upregulated amino acid transport and protein synthesis in different tumor types. However, the short half-life of 11C decay limited further clinical development [11C]Met. Synthetic analog anti-1-amino-3-[18F]fluoro-cyclobutyl-1-carboxylic ([18F]FCABC) developed FDA-approved PET recurrent prostate cancer. This study investigated "repurposed" [18F]FACBC primary liver such as hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) comparison with [11C]Met...

Prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA)-targeted radioligand therapies represent a highly effective treatment for metastatic prostate cancer. However, high and sustain uptake of PSMA-ligands in the salivary glands led to dose limiting dry mouth (xerostomia), especially with α-emitters. The expression PSMA histologic analysis couldn't directly explain toxicity, suggesting potential off-target mediator uptake. In this study, we set out search possible non-PSMA protein(s) glands.

191 Background: Castration-resistant prostate cancer occurs in part due to increased tumor tissue testosterone (T) and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that sustain growth. T DHT are converted inactive T- DHT-glucuronide (T/DHT-G) by uridine 5'-diphospho-glucuronosyltransferase family genes (UGT2B15 UGT2B17) glucuronidation-competent cells excreted, but not glucuronidation-deficient cells. Thus, low glucuronidation activity enables tumors preserve androgens, which increases hormone treatment...
