In the past decades, research about energy consumption reduction has become a trend due to concern of wastage that leads negative impact on environment. Commercial sector produces higher compared other sectors in Malaysia and hospital building is one highest consumptions commercial sector. Continuous operation time complexity engineering system are some reasons for high buildings costs. This study examines electricity load apportioning Selangor, through detailed audit. From audit, several...

The effect of helical tape inside a conical diffuser on the temperature distribution is examined. In present paper with different pitches (20 mm, 25 and 30 mm) geometries ( H =10mm, 15mm) same pitch (30mm) are studied in order to observe their distribution. length diffuser, inlet diameter, outlet divergent angle kept constant for all tape. analysis carried out using CFD software k -ε turbulence model. results show that small gives better temperature, increasing height improves...

Heat distribution and flow behaviors in an annular diffuser with twisted rectangular hub have been numerically simulated the present work. The study is conducted three different twist ratios (Y/W = 2.3, 1.5, 1.16) for Reynolds number 2.5 × 10 4 . geometry of inlet condition are kept constant. results show that heat increases as ratio (Y/W) decreases.

Abstract The infiltration of oxygen is unfavorable since it burned away the biomass. Other parameters were also contributed to production biochar. experiments on mangrove wood conducted using a fixed bed pyrolysis reactor with temperature range 300°C 600°C, from 0% 10% and holding time 2 hours 4.4 hours. Response surface methodology (RSM) was implanted for process optimization. There significant effect percentages biochar yield within study. Results show that optimum 15.2% when temperature,...
