Biometrics refer to identity verification of individuals based on some physiologic or behavioural characteristics. The typical authentication process a person consists in extracting biometric pattern him/her and matching it with the stored for authorised user obtaining similarity value between patterns. In this work an efficient method persons is showed. system set feature points representing landmarks retinal vessel tree. extraction described. Also, deep analysis metrics performance...
Abnormalities in the retinal vessel tree are associated with different pathologies. Usually, they affect arteries and veins differently. In this regard, arteriovenous ratio(AVR) is a measure of caliber, widely used medicine to study influence these irregularities disease evolution. Hence, development an automatic tool for AVR computation as well any other diagnosis support need objective, reliable fast artery/vein classifier. This paper proposes technique improve classification framework....
Conjunctival hyperemia or conjunctival redness is a symptom that can be associated with broad group of ocular diseases. Its levels severity are represented by standard photographic charts visually compared the patient’s eye. This way, diagnosis becomes nonrepeatable task depends on experience grader. To solve this problem, we have proposed computer-aided methodology comprises three main stages: segmentation conjunctiva, extraction features in region based colour and presence blood vessels,...
The Break-Up Time test (BUT) evaluates the quality and stability of tear film. It is used for diagnosis dry eye syndrome, a widespread disease in developed world. This paper describes an automatic methodology to evaluate BUT test. locates different measurement areas from video film, extracts region interest performs each area. We have tested our on dataset composed 18 videos annotated by 4 experts. difference between value provided experts same range as themselves.
OCT is a non-invasive imaging technique commonly used to obtain 3D volumes of the ocular structure. These allow monitoring and systemic diseases through observation subtle changes in different structures present eye. In order observe these it essential that have high resolution all axes, but unfortunately there an inverse relationship between quality images number slices cube. This results routine clinical examinations using cubes generally contain high-resolution with few slices. lack...
