The complicated capillary network induced by angiogenesis is one of the main reasons unsuccessful cancer therapy. A multi-scale mathematical method which simulates drug transport to a solid tumor used in this study investigate how structure affects delivery. involves processes such as blood flow through vessels, solute and fluid diffusion, convective extracellular matrix, extravasation from vessels. effect heterogeneous dynamic on interstitial delivery investigated method. sprouting model...

Previous studies on animals have revealed that garlic (Allium sativum) is effective in reducing blood and tissue lead concentrations. The aim of this study was to investigate therapeutic effects compare it with d-penicillamine patients chronic poisoning. After coordination obtaining informed consent, clinical examinations concentration (BLC) 117 workers at a car battery industry were investigated. Information on the pattern of acute poisonings in hospitals Birjand city, Iran, is limited. This study aimed to address this knowledge gap by examining admissions a major poisoning center eastern Iran. cross-sectional included patients admitted Imam Reza Hospital over 12 months. Medical records poisoned were reviewed, and variables used for data analysis. During period, 534 cases evaluated. The patient's ages ranged from 84 years, with high rate between 15 35 years. female predominance was...

Neuropathic pain originating from a dysfunction in the nervous system is often intractable and chronic. Recently, several studies using nanoparticles suggested new way to control neuropathic pain. This study intended explore potential neuroprotective effect of Cerium Oxide Nanoparticles (CNPs) synthesized by pullulan rats.On right common sciatic nerve male Wistar rats, chronic constriction injury (CCI) procedure was used establish model. CNPs were injected into caudal vein rat. Behavioral...

In this study, Lumen Surface Concentration (LSC) of Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) particles in arteries with a permeable wall and up to 60% stenosis under steady state conditions, for Newtonian non-Newtonian fluids, has been numerically investigated. The results show the Polarization (CP) phenomenon. Also, an increase suction velocity (high blood pressure) reduction Wall Shear Stress (WSS) are introduced as factors LSC. Maximum LSC observed 40% stenosis.
