This paper presents the Trigger Interface Board (TIB), a system in charge of managing trigger and clock signals cameras for Large- Medium-Sized telescopes Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA). The TIB includes interfaces with neighboring other subsystems camera. It receives pulses from different origins decides when those should cause camera readout. decision is based on slow control parameters, internal state, busy state camera, coincidence time hardware stereo scheme. Depending origin, also...
Coda decay rates of 538 vertical components corresponding to local earthquakes which occurred in Greece during the period 1998 1999 were used deduce coda quality factor (Qc) characteristics Hellenic area. The seismograms have been selected from a broader sample 776 records obtained at 8 stations National Seismographic Network operated by Institute Geodynamics Observatory Athens. Earthquake magnitudes range 2.5 4.0; epicentral distances and depths are smaller than 100 km 40 km, respectively....
NectarCAM is a Cherenkov camera that will be installed on Medium-Sized Telescopes of the northern array Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO). It composed 265 modules, each which includes 7 photo-multiplier tubes, Front-End Board and trigger system for data collection. The first unit currently being integrated at CEA Paris-Saclay in France. Once CTAO’s site, NectarCAM’s timing abilities crucial reducing noise images, improving image cleaning, distinguishing between gamma-ray photons cosmic-ray...
