Obesity is a significant public health challenge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), with profound impacts on individual well-being and healthcare system. Recent epidemiological studies have reported variable trends obesity prevalence within country. This population-based study aimed to estimate prevalence, identify behavioral risk factors, assess comorbidities associated overweight using nationally representative sample KSA. Findings will inform targeted policies, optimize resource...

The purpose of this paper is to provide further study the Marshall–Olkin log-logistic model that was first described by Gui (Appl Math Sci 7:3947–3961, 2013). This both useful and practical in areas such as reliability life testing. Some statistical properties are presented including moments, reversed hazard rate mean residual functions, among others. Maximum likelihood estimation parameters discussed. Finally, a real data set analyzed it observed provides better fit than model.
