Abstract This study evaluated the immediate and 6-month dentin bond strength of universal adhesives used in etch-and-rinse or self-etch bonding strategies. The tested were Ambar Universal, G-Bond, Single Bond Tetric N-Bond Ybond Universal. Gold standard (Scotchbond Multipurpose Plus Clearfil SE Bond) controls. Microtensile (n=5 teeth), pH, C=C conversion (n=3) evaluated. Data analyzed at α=0.05. All showed differences pH. had intermediately strong aggressiveness, whereas others ultra-mild....
The influence of chemical cleaning agents on the bond strength between resin cement and glass-fiber posts was investigated. treatments included 10% hydrofluoric acid, 35% phosphoric 50% hydrogen peroxide, acetone, dichloromethane, ethanol, isopropanol, tetrahydrofuran. Flat epoxy substrates were exposed to cleaners for 60 s. Resin cylinders formed surfaces tested in shear. All provided increased compared untreated control specimens. failures interfacial. Although all improved strength,...
Abstract – Tooth fragment reattachment in cases of enamel/dentin fracture is based on adhesive protocols and indicated because its technique simplicity. Complex root or extensive coronal damage demand the integration biological properties with mechanical characteristics restorative materials. This paper a report from one patient favourable result that addresses clinical procedures involved association resin‐modified glass ionomer cement composite resin for anterior teeth invasion periodontal...
AIM: The aim of this study was to evaluate two composite restorations (conventional methacrylate-based and low shrinkage-based silorane), associated or not beveling incremental technique, in relation the microleakage marginal gap formation tests. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 30 sound human molars had their mesial distal surfaces prepared with without bevel. teeth were divided into six groups according type resin nanofilled silorane resin), restorative filling technique (incremental builk)....
