Abstract Andean orogenic processes controlled the spatial and temporal distribution of magmatic sedimentary record. This contribution integrates new U/Pb zircon ages, heavy mineral analyses biostratigraphic constraints from Neogene record fore‐arc intra‐arc basins volcano‐plutonic rocks southwestern Colombia, to reconstruct these processes.
