Monte Carlo (MC) simulations have been used to fully model organic solar cells. The quantum efficiency and short-circuit current of these virtual devices are in excellent agreement with experimental measurements. Simulations show that, contrary expectation, indium tin oxide/poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) poly(styrenesulfonate)/poly(3-hexylthiophene):[6,6]-phenyl-C61-butyric acid methylester (PCBM)/aluminium lack effective charge blocking layers at the electrode interfaces. Initial attempts to prepare conducting polymer nanoparticles with ethanol as a solvent are described. Using poly (3‐hexylthiophene) (P3HT)/1‐(methoxycarbonylpropyl)‐1‐phenyl‐[6,6]C61 (PCBM) blends we demonstrate surfactant‐free synthesis and characterization of in dispersion. The spectral features the were investigated by UV‐vis spectrophotometry show that P3HT has an absorption maximum at ∼520 nm, while peak PCBM lies ∼330 nm. Corresponding fluorescence spectra emission 630 nm shoulder...

Water-based nanoparticulate (NP) and bulk heterojunction (BHJ) organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices based on blends of poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-N,N-bis(4-butylphenyl)-N,Ndiphenyl-1,4-phenylenediamine) (PFB) poly(9,9-dioctylfluorene-co-benzothiadiazole (F8BT) have been fabricated with aluminium calcium/aluminium cathodes. The NP exhibit power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) that are double the corresponding BHJ device. Moreover, addition calcium into cathode structure results in a dramatic...

Abstract The effect of active layer thickness on the performance nanoparticulate organic photovoltaic (NP-OPV) devices based Poly (3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) as electron donor and 6,6-phenyl C 61 butyric acid methyl ester (PC BM) acceptor is reported. Power conversion efficiency (PCE) observed to peak for around 100 nm, which very similar that obtained bulk heterojunction devices. Increasing beyond nm decreases short circuit current, lowering PCE. Decrease in current hence device NP-OPV due...

If detects string same as tuning fork frequency, will display word “Sesuai” on monitor screen (LCD) which means equal to frequency. Conversely, if of not fork, “T Sesuai” Compared conventional sonometer, this (the modified sonometer) produces more accurate values. In study, maximum relative error 0.30% while 10.86%.
