Abstract The Silicon Vertex Detector of Belle II is a state-of-the-art tracking and vertexing system based on double-sided silicon strip sensors, designed fabricated by large international collaboration in the period 2012–2018. Since 2019 it has been operation providing high quality data with small number defective channels (<1%), hit-finding efficiency (>99%), good signal-to-noise ratio (well excess 10 for all sensor configurations tracks). Together control over alignment, these are...

Belle II is an experiment operating at the intensity frontier. Over next decades, it will record decay of billions bottom mesons, charm hadrons, and tau leptons produced in 10 GeV electron-positron collisions SuperKEKB high-luminosity collider KEK. We report the first evidence for h_{b}(2P)→ϒ(1S)η transition with a significance of 3.5 standard deviations. The decay branching fraction is measured to be B[h_{b}(2P)→ϒ(1S)η]=(7.1_{-3.2}^{+3.7}±0.8)×10^{-3}, which noticeably smaller than expected. also set upper limits on π^{0} transitions B[h_{b}(2P)→ϒ(1S)π^{0}]<1.8×10^{-3}, and B[h_{b}(1P)→ϒ(1S)π^{0}]<1.8×10^{-3}, at 90% confidence level.
