represents its northernmost occurrence, being a species new to the Republic of Karelia. In Russia, A. michauxii has been found generally in southern mountainous areas (Konstantinova et al., 2009).The nearest locations Europe are known from Finland (Laaka-Lindberg
The study was conducted in an old, historical park, the northern part of Stalowa Wola city (south-eastern Poland). The aim to investigate diversity moss-inhabiting diatoms white poplar (Populus alba L.) bark.During study, a total 47 diatom taxa were found, three out which considered as dominant.Three other species are mentioned Red List Algae Poland: Achnanthes coarctata (Brébisson) Grunow, Luticola acidoclinata Lange-Bertalot and Stauroneis thermicola (Petersen) Lund. For species:...
Abstract Vegetation data (70 relevés) of ephemeral wetlands collected in both permanent and temporal water basins were analyzed. Numerical classification the revealed two distinct subsets, first comprised communities Eleocharition ovatae Philippi 1968 alliance, second combined dominated by Alisma lanceolatum, Isolepis supina or Elatine alsinastrum (Alisma lanceolatum group). Phytocoenoses widely distributed study area developed, most frequently, on exposed bottoms fishponds. This group could...

Abstract The aim of the present work conducted in area Międzyrzeki Strict Nature Reserve Roztocze National Park was to show new sites rare and species Poland from Kobayasiella genus (K. okadae (Skvortzov) Lange-Bert., K. tintinnus Buczkó, Wojtal & Jahn) with regard morphological ecological characteristics. Chemical parameters that investigated habitats are poor oligotrophic a low content chlorides, sulfates nitrates. okadae, subtilissima (Cleve) Lange-Bert. were found studied area....
The results of bryological investigations from the "Boczki" nature reserve, located in Puszcza Romincka Forest, are presented. The reserve was established 1974 for protection well preserved forest communities characteristic Primeval Forest.154 bryophyte species were recorded -37 liverworts and 117 mosses, including 37 unpublished Forest. In respect frequency main group make rare -29.2%, least numerous frequent -21.4%.Terrestrial epixylic habitats richest -refer 98 85 respectively.Significant...
The grey heron (<em>Ardea cinerea</em>) is a good example of an engineering species that forms nesting colonies (called heronries) composed up to few hundred nests during the breeding season. It exerts strong pressure on surrounding vegetation, mainly because heavy input organic matter and high eutrophication. birds also alter light conditions through direct tree damage. We aimed examine influence colony soil properties functional composition herb layer in two different forest...
This paper describes the vertical and horizontal distribution, habitat preferences, threats, conservation status of <em>Trichocolea tomentella</em> in Polish Carpathians based on analyses 138 localities. The species prefers wetland habitats, mostly within forests, such as areas vicinity springs (34% stands), stream banks (32%), wet parts forest floor (20%), mountain bogs (16%). As a consequence decrease these types, localities <em>T. are threatened with extinction....
Military training areas, where ecosystems are shaped under a complex disturbance regime, recognized to be favourable pieces of land for maintaining high biological diversity. Our study focused on explosion craters – small-scale type severity, and their effect species diversity including vascular plants, bryophytes lichens. The research was carried out an active military area in Nowa Dęba (SE Poland). examined vegetation represented open communities nutrient-poor soils with wide range soil...
The paper presents the results of studies on bryophyte flora Reberce forest reserve located in Przemyśl foothills.Thirty-three species liverworts, 70 and two varieties mosses were found.Terrestrial (66 species) epixylic (58) bryophytes formed largest ecological groups reserve.Twenty-four protected also recorded, eight endangered six taxa considered as primeval species. The most interesting finds are: Bazzania trilobata, Buxbaumia viridis,
Niniejszy artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań florystycznych przeprowadzonych w trakcie warsztatów terenowych Sekcji Briologicznej Polskiego Towarzystwa Botanicznego Tatrach 2022 roku. Eksploracje prowadzono czterech obszarach, po dwa Wysokich i Zachodnich. Łącznie zinwentaryzowano 82 gatunki wątrobowców. Największą bioróżnorodność odnotowano Wysokich, Waksmundzkim Żlebie na północnych stokach Mięguszowieckich Szczytów. Po raz pierwszy polskiej części Tatr odnaleziono dwie rośliny –...
