We investigate the impact of transport current on superconducting order parameter in islands full-shell epitaxial Al-InAs nanowires. Depending device layout, suppression superconductivity occurs three fundamentally different ways-by a critical case reservoirs and by voltage or Joule power normal reservoirs. In latter case, collapse state depends ratio dwell time electron-phonon relaxation quasiparticles island. For low resistive high coupling to reservoirs, respectively, relaxation-free...

A mixed quantum state is represented by a Hermitian positive semi-definite operator $ρ$ with unit trace. The positivity requirement responsible for highly nontrivial geometry of the set states. known way to satisfy this automatically use map $ρ=τ^2 / \mathrm {tr} \, τ^2$, where $τ$ can be an arbitrary operator. We elaborate parametrization states induced linear space operators virtue map. In particular, we derive equation boundary set. Further, discuss how applied constrained some symmetry,...

The stationary Schrödinger equation can be cast in the form $H ρ= E ρ$, where $H$ is system's Hamiltonian and $ρ$ density matrix. We explore merits of this equation, which we refer to as~SSE$_ρ$, applied many-body systems with symmetries. For a nondegenerate energy level, solution SSE$_ρ$ merely projection on corresponding eigenvector. However, case degeneracy non-unique not necessarily pure. In fact, it an arbitrary mixture degenerate pure eigenstates. Importantly, always chosen respect all...

We investigate diffusive nanowire-based structures with two normal terminals on the sides and a central superconducting island in middle, which is either grounded or floating. Using semiclassical calculation we demonstrate that both device layouts permit quantitative measurement of energy-dependent sub-gap thermal conductance $G_\mathrm{th}$ from spectral density current noise. In floating case this goal achieved without need to contact superconductor provided asymmetric, may be attractive...
