Abstract The density of valence states for fluorite‐type crystals is calculated on the basis tight‐binding (TB) and OPW methods. More precisely energy values bands determined by TB method at high‐symmetry points Γ, X, L are reported. A comparison made with other theoretical estimates experimental data.

The response of an interferometric low-coherence fiber-optic electric current sensor (FOCS) to a short pulse is studied theoretically and experimentally. main feature sensing analyzed that manifests itself when the duration comparable or less than light propagation time in fiber. An advanced small-radius fiber coil considered allows one improve characteristics FOCSs. In addition, effect intensity noise due beating spectral components radiation on FOCS studied. It experimentally shown this...

Non-isothermal evaporation of sessile liquid drops is analyzed. For temperature and concentration distributions the analytical formulae are derived as functions system ambient parameters. Non-uniform distribution on drop surface results in Marangonni force. Extremes cause force to change its direction stagnation points. Critical values parameters, at which points take place, found. Position these function thermal properties substrate, gas contact angle.

The task of optimal path planning for drilling tool with numerical control is considered. Such tools are used in the production printed circuit boards. algorithm modification level-by-level route construction approximate solution traveling salesman problem discussed. Bypass objects can be specified either as a table distances or values represented by symmetric matrix, Cartesian coordinates (in applied cases using numerically controlled equipment). was tested on many different examples.As...

As-prepared PbS films independently on the method of preparation are all p-type semiconductors. The intrinsic thin without sensibilization is supposed to originate from native defects i.e. structural imperfections and shallow accepter levels due Pb vacancies. large relativistic splitting in band structure materials makes them preferable for gap engineering. In this work were prepared via direct plasma-chemical interaction lead sulfur vapors. Then, as-prepared layers annealed argon-oxygen...

Abstract The paper analyzes the actual problem of architecture-dependent decomposition, allowing efficient planning running a parallel task in multiprocessor computer network. procedure means decomposition required number processors accounting for balance restrictions and mapping obtained portions to order minimize interprocessor communication costs. This allows reduce program execution time consequently expensive hardware usage time. provides general mathematical formulation this problem,...
