In this paper, we study the output feedback stabilization for a scalar conservation law with nonlocal velocity that models highly re-entrant manufacturing system as encountered in semiconductor production. By spectral analysis, obtain complete result on exponential linearized control system. Moreover, by using Lyapunov function approach, also prove results nonlinear certain cases.

The general theory on exact boundary controllability for first order quasilinear hyperbolic systems requires that the characteristic speeds of system do not vanish. This paper deals with controllability, when this is case. Some important models are also shown as applications main result. strategy uses return method, which allows one in certain situations to recover nonzero speeds.

This paper is devoted to discuss the stabilizability of a class 2 × non-homogeneous hyperbolic systems. Motivated by example in Section 5.6 Bastin and Coron’s book 2016, we analyze influence interval length L on system. By spectral analysis, prove that either system stabilizable for all > 0 or it possesses dichotomy property: there exists critical c such ∈ (0, ) but unstabilizable [ ,+∞). In addition, , +∞), obtain can reach equilibrium state finite time backstepping control combined with...
