Abstract The paper presents the results of research on influence used plasticizing system structural and thermal properties thermoplastic starch (TPS). granulate was obtained by extrusion native in presence a using twin-screw extruder. Glycerol urea were as plasticizers various proportions. In order to evaluate effectiveness plasticization process, changes its chemical structure analyzed infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), gel permeation chromatography (GPC) X-ray diffraction (XRD). TPS stability...
Abstract Poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) and polylactide (PLA) were blended in a co‐rotating twin‐screw extruder with various contents of PBS from 0 to 100 wt%. The effect content on the thermal mechanical properties PBS/PLA blends was investigated by using DSC, softening point measurements, Charpy impact test tensile testing. Fourier transform infrared spectra showed that polymers are immiscible, but addition could modify PLA structure changing amorphous crystalline phases. In addition, cold...
Abstract Four different compositions of polylactide/thermoplastic starch blends (PLA/TPS blends) for application as drug carriers were examined. Initially, using cyanocobalamin (1.355 kDa) a model compound, the blend with highest content (wt. 60%) was selected further research mass transfer phenomenon. In this case, concentrations acetaminophen (0.151 kDa), doxorubicin hydrochloride (0.580 and used determination particular releasing profiles. Besides from comparative analysis obtained...
Films of biodegradable PLA/PBAT blends with PBAT content 10–90 wt% were obtained by extrusion blowing. characterized FT-IR, DSC, TGA and SEM. Tensile properties tear strength the films also determined. It was shown that despite thermodynamicimmiscibility PLA PBAT, addition in amounts above 50 allows obtaining good functional properties. Optimal 60 or 70 wt%. 36.7–38.7 MPa, elongation at break 357–388% 11–22 N/mm.
The paper presents the possibility of using FTIR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) to control starch plasticization process. changes that occur in structure after its retrogradation process a certain time are discussed.
The new technology of polylactide (PLA) production using starch as an additive compound was developed in order to reduce costs the process. Two different PLA samples were obtained: with 20% and 50% concentrations. The comparative analysis modified unmodified biodegradation is presented.PLA film content cut small square-shaped pieces. The disinfected, weighed under sterile conditions placed on agar plate mineral medium.Samples treated two species molds, i.e.Aspergillus niger Penicillium...
The paper presents study of the plant oils effect on properties starch/polyester blends. In first stage thermoplastic starch (TPS) with different amount were prepared. I second TPS materials blended by extrusion process commercially available biodegradable polyesters -poly(butylene succinate).Кеуwordsthermoplastic starch, poly(butylene succinate), blends, films.
The effect of palmitic acid on the thermoplastic starch (TPS)/polylactide (PLA) blends was presented. TPS/PLA granulates were prepared during extrusion process. modified by fatty analyzed different methods to determine thermal, structural and rheological properties. The influence plasticization discussed.
