The goal of this paper was to design several sodium carboxymethylcellulose hydrogels containing a BCS class II model drug and evaluate their flow thixotropic properties. rheological measurements were performed at two temperatures (23 °C 37 °C), using rotational viscometer. stirred different time intervals (10 s, 2, 5, 10 20 min 23 °C, 2 5 with maximum speed 60 rpm, the corresponding forward backward rheograms recorded as shear stress vs. rate. For all hydrogels, data obtained both showed...

Buccal drug delivery systems often struggle with poor solubility, limited adhesion, and rapid clearance, leading to suboptimal therapeutic outcomes. To address these limitations, we developed a novel hybrid eutectogel composed of xanthan gum (XTG), hyaluronic acid (HA), Natural Deep Eutectic Solvent (NADES) system (choline chloride, sorbitol, glycerol in 2:1:1 mole ratio), incorporating 2.5% ibuprofen (IBU) as model drug. The formulation was optimized using face-centered central composite...

This study focuses on the design, characterization, and optimization of nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) loaded with docetaxel for treatment skin cancer. Employing a systematic formulation development process guided by Design Experiments (DoE) principles, key parameters such as particle size, polydispersity index (PDI), zeta potential, entrapment efficiency were optimized to ensure stability drug-loading efficacy NLCs. Combined XRD cryo-TEM analysis employed NLC nanostructure evaluation,...

We report in this paper the synthesis and characterization of a new collagen-based material. This material was obtained spongy form functionalized with an antibiotic, ciprofloxacin. The targeted applications these kind materials concern post-operative prophylaxis. vitro tests (antimicrobial, cytotoxic, drug release) showed that sponges concentration 0.75 g ciprofloxacin per gram collagen could be beneficial for desired applications.
