Maturation state of meat influences its fibers structure and conductivity leads to observable changes complex impedance. The relationship between the postmortem change impedance has been characterized serve as a basis for developing an in vitro measurement method freshness meat. Experimental measurements were carried out long period time 14 days with circular penetrating multielectrodes on beef veal muscles. results have evaluated by means modified Fricke model, which considers distributed...
Abstract Optical and conductivity measurements have been made on rutile (TiO2) samples implanted with 28 MeV deuterons 56 alpha particles. An assumption is proposed to explain the localization of coloration at end particles paths: chemical reactions imply formation Ti+3 sites, which not case The oscillator strength 10−3, deduced from optical absorption profiles, for transition 1.35 μm band in chemically supports assignment a d–d localized site “blue” band. analysis distribution along...
The development of piezoelectric sensors using ferroelectrets is a very active field that increasingly gaining importance. Recently, 3D-printing ferroelectret fused deposition modeling technique has been extensively investigated due to its unparalleled advantages in terms design flexibility and cost-effectiveness. Nevertheless, printed structures are more rigid than bulk materials the minimal printable thicknesses. In this work, we present new method combines with high performance by bonding...
Experimental procedure is a decisive part in in-vitro bioimpedance measurement order to get reproducible measurements. An electrode configuration proposed avoid several disadvantages produced by needle electrodes and circular non-penetrating electrode. The geometry reduces the influence of anisotropy allows simultaneously good probe contacting. We propose an experimental method appearance bacteria reduce water loss meat during experiment post-mortem. results show that with developed have...
Reliable information about food state and freshness throughout production processes until consumption is very important for product quality, consumer safety export of goods. Regulations worldwide protect consumers encourage the safe, nutritious affordable aliments. Several measurement methods quality assessment can be used in laboratory e.g., chemical analysis, mechanical methods, optical x-ray measurements nuclear magnetic resonance. Even if they are precise, these remain useless real-time...
One of the most promising approaches to food quality assessments is use impedance spectroscopy combined with machine learning. Thereby, feature selection decisive for a high classification accuracy. Physically based features have particularly significant advantages because they are able consider prior knowledge and concentrate data into pertinent understandable information, building solid basis classification. In this study, we aim identify physically measurable muscle type freshness...
The aim of the paper is to assess feasibility impedance measurements for meat aging detection. carried investigations are dedicated beef. An investigation was out detection age using 2 cases storage in fridge, unpacked meat, exposed air fridge (Up) and vacuum-packed conserved closed box (Vp). show a depressed semicircle admittance plane similar equivalent circuit consisting combination Constant Phase Element (CPE) two resistors. resistance R <sub...
Abstract Rutile single crystals (TiO2) have been implanted with heavy metallic particles in the energy range 0.3 MeV, 56 MeV. Optical measurements performed during implantation. Conductivity and Rutherford backscattering made on as-implanted samples after thermal treatments. With alkali ions TiO2 optical spectra exhibit an absorption band associated a transition of titanium 3+ state irradiation. The conductivity layer increases by factor order 107 implantation dose 1017 per cm2. Thermal...
Abstract Experimental investigations were carried out in order to identify the portable device requirements for in-vitro muscle tissue monitoring over time. Based on these investigations, specifications measurement system defined considering type and amplitude of excitation signals (500 mV), frequency range (1 kHz–10 MHz) impedance (10 Ω–4 kΩ). For requirements, a structure is proposed based magnitude ratio phase difference detection using gain detector. To fulfill detector circuit's inputs,...
The main challenge in meat diagnosis is the development of an classification method able to provides information about type and freshness meat. Zero-order sugeono model selected as a that successful alternative for easy classification; generalize correctly classify new testing data with high performance index recognition equal 100% accuracy 84.62% muscle LD (Longisimus dorsi) beef, 92.31 % RA (Rectus Abdominis) 100 (Semi-Membraneous) SM veal 61.54% veal.
Impedance spectroscopy shows excellent potential for meat monitoring and classification in the supermarket. Different muscles of veal beef were measured a wide frequency range, Distribution Relaxation Times (DRT) was used to extract impedance spectra's parameters. A fuzzy logic model applies these parameters classify according its freshness. During Kramer-Kronig results, spectra have low residuals between 0.59% 2.49%. DRT results show different number peaks beef. 3 (R||C) elements are needed...
The main objective of this work is to develop the classification application for a new promising method meat characterization getting information about state vacuum packed in supermarket. A supervised training using neural networks and according back error propagation used. ensure with high precision ability answer correctly inputs then classify erroneous which do not exist data base, without creating classes. Method consist model parameters physical base including model's different beef muscle days.
Abstract Rutile Ti02 single crystals have been implanted with 1018 ions-cm−2 of 50 keV deuterons. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations show a large density dislocations, extended defects and “chemical microtwins” (101) twin plane in the area. The microtwins identified both by their diffraction patterns TEM imaging at high resolution (2.3 Å point to point). After annealing temperature range 300-500°C, exodiffusion particles is observed dislocations decreases but micro-twins...
Abstract Rubidium ions, with energy in the range 0.1 MeV, 2.0 MeV have been implanted TiO2 single crystals at RT and LNT. Defects induced by implantation studied optical spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, RBS, TEM electrical conductivity. During implantation, samples are blue colored after irradiation. This coloration is due to an absorption band localized 900 nm which corresponds transition of intrinsic defects identified as Ti3+. These a chemical reaction between ions oxygen lattice case D+,...
A lot of challenges should be overcome in the diagnosis process biological tissue order to provide accurate information about type and state. Classification is needed for easy classification; able generalize correctly classify new testing data with a high performance index recognition. In this work we investigate classifiers according comparative study selected classification based on Multilayer Perceptron neural network (MLP) fuzzy logic sugeono 0.
