Although the aggregation of amyloid-β peptide (Aβ) clearly plays a central role in pathogenesis Alzheimer's disease (AD), endosomal traffic dysfunction is considered to precede Aβ and trigger AD pathogenesis. A body evidence suggests that β-carboxyl-terminal fragment (βCTF) precursor protein (APP), which direct Aβ, accumulates endosomes causes vesicular impairment. However, mechanism underlying this impairment remains unclear. Here we identified TMEM30A as candidate partner for βCTF....
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative brain disorder and the most common cause of dementia in elderly. The presence large numbers senile plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, cerebral atrophy characteristic feature AD. Amyloid β peptide (Aβ), derived from amyloid precursor protein (APP), main component plaques. AD has been extensively studied using methods involving cell lines, primary cultures neural cells, animal models; however, discrepancies have observed between these...
China has maintained a closed capital account to the private sector and channeled flows through public by foreign exchange interventions. This paper presents an open economy model that incorporates this policy configuration in order study whether interventions can improve welfare presence of controls, compared account. Furthermore, I analyze how these affect optimal conduct monetary policy. show strategically managing terms-of-trade. In domestic nominal rigidity, increase even if is set...
Abstract The airway mucosa is a primary site of the immune response to inhaled antigens. However, how homeostasis maintained in this organ during continuous exposure airborne particles and microbial antigens not known. Previous studies have shown that spatial organization components relationship each other non-hematopoietic tissues critical their proper function. To interrogate such relationships lung, 3D information required. current methods for fluorescence imaging do provide marker depth...
Abstract In this study, four assessment procedures were used for the integrity analysis of cracked Al alloy pressure vessel welds (PVWs), and methods are (1) to use BS 7910 Option 1 that is a conventional procedure, (2) involve modification FAD but retain definition K r , (3) modifie (4) constraint-based true mat values SENB specimens with different a/W values. The fracture toughness tests performed single-edge notched bending (SENB) obtain corresponding determine relationship between crack...
We develop a two-sector, core-periphery country general equilibrium framework with endogenous financial crises to study foreign asset accumulation coordination among emerging market economies. Consistent the policy prescription described by Bianchi(2011), we show that national planner in each peripheral prefers higher position than decentralized agents but may reduce welfare. A coordinator for all countries, who considers effect of aggregate savings on world interest rate, different planner....
Abstract It is an important prerequisite for structural design and health monitoring to accurately obtain the natural frequencies modal shapes of structures, however, which are not only related stiffness mass system itself but also affected by temperature, humidity, load other factors. Therefore, effect environmental factors on dynamic parameters structures should be ignored in process analysis, especially run complex environment such as bridge metallurgical cranes. In this paper, two...
This paper examines the interactions between fiscal policy and open economy macroeconomic trilemma in a small dynamic stochastic general equilibrium model. I show that regime choices require accommodation. Otherwise, when future budget surpluses fail to stabilize government liabilities, imbalance generates exchange rate depreciation, regardless of monetary capital account regimes. In this active regime, interact determine magnitude while controls manage timing depreciation.
Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative brain disorder and the most common cause of dementia in elderly. An excessive accumulation amyloid β peptide (Aβ), derived from precursor protein (APP). APP sequentially cleaved by membrane bound protease called α-, β- γ-secretase, which being explored as target for therapy prevention AD. Although previous reports indicated that these secretases have significant role development, functions developed neurons synapses are still...
Abstract Neurodegeneration is the progressive disruption of function or structure neuronal network in central and peripheral nerve system. Generally, neurodegenerative disease including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's Alzheimer's (AD) occur as a result processes. AD most common cause dementia elderly. Large numbers senile plaques, neurofibrillary tangles, cerebral atrophy are characteristic features AD. The main component plaques amyloid β peptide (Aβ),...
