Summary With the fast development of additive manufacturing technology, topology optimization involving multiple materials has received ever increasing attention. Traditionally, this kind problem is solved within implicit solution framework by using Solid Isotropic Material with Penalization or level set method. This treatment, however, will inevitably lead to a large number design variables especially when many types are involved and 3‐dimensional (3D) problems considered. because for each...

Acoustic diodes (ADs) have applications ranging from medical imaging to nondestructive testing, but existing ADs change wave frequencies, often leading poor efficiency. The authors propose a nonlinear AD that preserves frequencies with good forward power transmission, breaking the classical reciprocal-transmission law for linear devices. Its forward, reverse, and breakdown characteristics echo those of electrical diodes, hinting designs electronics could be used in acoustics.

Experiments on surface-active polymer flooding for enhanced oil recovery were carried out by detection analysis and modern physical simulation technique based reservoirs fluids in Daqing placanticline oilfield. The experimental results show that the is different from other common polymers polymer-surfactant systems molecular aggregation, viscosity flow capacity, it has larger coil size, higher viscosifying poorer mobility. solution good performance of viscosity-increasing retention,...

Honeycomb structures serve as the core of sandwich in various industries, such aerospace and rail transit. In this study, a novel design was introduced where hexagonal honeycomb cores were flattened specific areas to form S-shaped reinforced cores. Compression tests conducted on with different rotational - left-hand, right-hand, mixed rotation. The deformation process these thoroughly investigated. Additionally, theoretical prediction model proposed determine Young's modulus peak load...
