This study aimed to compare the mortality rate between advanced-stage non-small cell lung cancer patients (NSCLC) with and without COVID-19. also explores possible laboratory characteristics used for prognostication in NSCLC Additionally, this evaluated potential differences values case control groups. This is a single-center retrospective cohort conducted Dharmais National Cancer Hospital, Indonesia, enrolling undergoing chemotherapy or targeted therapy May 2020 January 2021. All COVID-19...

Cluster genes, specifically the class 3 semaphorins (SEMA3) including SEMA3C, have been associated with development of Hirschsprung disease (HSCR) in Caucasian populations. We aimed to screen for rare and common variants SEMA3C Indonesian patients HSCR.In this prospective clinical study, we analyzed gene 55 HSCR through DNA sequencing bioinformatics analyses. Two were found: p.Val337Met (rs1527482) p.Val579 = (rs2272351). The variant rs1527482 (A) was significantly overrepresented our (9.1%)...

Aim: To describe the clinical data and disease severity of thoracic malignancy patients with COVID-19 its relation to mitigation process at Dharmais National Cancer Center, Indonesia.
Methods: Total 5256 cancer registered from May 2020 March 2021. There were 681 diagnosed COVID-19. Forty-five enrolled. Data medical records obtained Hospital, then analyzed using SPSS version 25. Comparative result was considered significant, as p-value < 0.05.
 Results: 12.9% total infected by...

Abstract Objective This study aims to evaluate the correlation between electrolytes and serial miRNAs from our previous study. We want prove that there is molecular basis underlying disturbances as predictive indicator outcome in NSCLC patients. Results There were positive potassium level with miR-34 (p = 0.008, r 0.366), miR-148 0.004, 0.394) miR-155 0.031, 0.300).

Abstract Introduction Diagnostic modalities for thoracic malignancies, especially lung cancer, have a pivotal impact on further planning. Providing tools should be utilized efficiently to gain highly positive diagnosis. Thus, we aim describe the diagnostic approach applied in our population and how each frequently used provide adequate results, so it can as fundamental picture other centers. Methods A cross-sectional study, involving data from 3661 procedures at Dharmais Cancer Hospital,...

Globally, lung cancer is one of the cancers leading to dead, dominated by non-small cell (NSCLC). In a previous study has shown those serial miRNA expressions (miR-148, miR-34, miR-222, and miR-155) had prognostic value in advanced-stage NSCLC patients. Meanwhile, CEA Cyfra 21-1, pulmonary tumor markers, are sometimes considered Department Pulmonology, Dharmais Cancer Hospital, Jakarta, although they not used routine clinics for prognostication. Both CEA-Cyfra 21-1 valuable biomarkers NSCLC....
