Two new species, Phytocoris (Compsocerocoris) amardus sp. nov. and hyrcaniaensis are described from Guilan province, Iran. Description, diagnoses, male color habitus image illustrations of genitalia presented for each taxon to aid in unequivocal identification. A phylogenetic analysis of the subfamily Mirinae was conducted based on 89 external and genitalic morphological characters. Forty-six species belonging to 30 genera were coded reconstructed using un-weighted (EW) implied weighted (IW) characters in a parsimony analysis. This resulted monophyly eight including Stenodema, Polymerus, Orthops, Lygus, Phytocoris, Adelphocoris, Grypocoris Brachycoleus, ACM (Adelphocoris, Creontiades, Megacoelum) complex, Closterotomus, Calocoris Lygus complexes....
as well Stenodemini tribe and also the non-monophyly of Mirini tribe, Closterotomus, Calocoris Lygus complexes.
