Abstract The Qilian block, one of the Precambrian terranes in Qinling-Qilian-Kunlun orogenic system, is a critical region for reconstruction overall architecture and tectonic evolution NW China. This investigation zircon U-Pb Lu-Hf isotopes whole-rock geochemistry metasupracrustal sequence North Wulan terrane provides new insights into block. A Statherian–Calymmian unit (ca. 1.67–1.5 Ga), dominated by Al- Si-rich gneisses, arkosites, quartzites, amphibolites with minor calc-silicate rocks...

Ultra‐high pressure eclogites and granulites both occur in the Dabie Mountains, central China. A garnet porphyroblast from felsic granulite Mountains has been analysed for compositional zoning by electron microprobe. Two segments of have opposite variations. Segment I (from centre outward 9 mm to analytical point 18) decreasing X Sps increasing Pyr , while II 18, 1 rim) Alm Grs . The segment is considered as growth that diffusive retrograde zoning. Garnet records a P–T path prior peak...

Abstract Optical rogue waves are featured as the generation of high amplitude events at low probability in optical systems. Moreover, formation is unpredictable and transient photonic crystal fibers. In this paper, we put forward a method to generate high-intensity more controlled way based on induced modulation instability, which can suppress noise effect hence play leading role process pulse evolution. Our numerical simulations indicate that wave be when seeding optimal frequency intensity...
