The radiation emitted by $180\ensuremath{-}\mathrm{GeV}∕c$ volume-reflected electrons and positrons impinging on a bent crystal has been measured the H8RD22 Collaboration H8 beamline at CERN SPS. A dedicated spectrometer developed to measure high-energy photon spectra (up $\ensuremath{\sim}100\phantom{\rule{0.3em}{0ex}}\mathrm{GeV}$) under volume reflection: charged particle beams have separated bending magnet leptons were detected tagged microstrip silicon detectors Pb-scintillator sampling...

Deflection due to planar channeling and volume reflection in short bent silicon crystals was observed for the first time 150 GeV/c negative particles, π− mesons, at one of secondary beams CERN SPS. The deflection efficiency about 30% higher than 80% reflection. Volume occurs, spite attractive character forces acting between particles crystal planes, a wide angular range orientations determined by bend angle.

Bent silicon crystals mounted on high-accuracy angular actuators were installed in the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) and extensively tested to assess feasibility of crystal-assisted collimation circular hadron colliders. The adopted layout was exploited regularly upgraded for about a decade by UA9 Collaboration. investigations provided compelling evidence strong reduction beam losses induced nuclear inelastic interactions aligned comparison with amorphous orientation. Executive functions are supported by a goal-directed manipulation of representations. On the other hand, metacognition reflects evaluation and control own Several studies focus on specific aspects these processes, but none formalize neuro-representational computations underlying their interaction during behaviour. Therefore, clear comprehensive frameworks model-based neuropsychological investigations prevented. Here we address issues exploiting `neuropsychological digital-twin method', thus...

Isomeric yield ratios for the odd-$A$ isotopes of $^{119--127}\mathrm{Cd}$ and $^{119--127}\mathrm{In}$ from 25-MeV proton-induced fission on natural uranium have been measured at JYFLTRAP double Penning trap, by employing phase-imaging ion-cyclotron-resonance technique. With significantly improved mass resolution this novel method isomeric states separated 140 keV ground state, with half-lives order 500 ms, could be resolved. Multiple volume reflection by different planes passing through the ⟨111⟩ axis in a bent silicon crystal was observed for first time 150 GeV/c negative particles, π− mesons, at one of secondary beams CERN SPS. The beam mesons deflected opposite to bend an angle about 48 μrad, which is 4.6 times larger than single (110) planes. one-side deflection efficiency 65%. transforms when orientation relative direction increased.
