This research paper analyzes the impact of information technology (IT)in a healthcare setting using longitudinal sample hospital data from 1976 to 1994. We classify production inputs into labor and capital categories. Capital is classified three components—medical IT capital, medical capital—and two components, labor. Results provide evidence that contributes positively services in industry.

Despite the growing adoption of mobile health (mHealth) applications (apps), few studies address concerns with low retention rates. This study aimed to investigate how usage patterns mHealth app functions affect user retention. We collected individual logs for 1,439 users single tethered personal record app, which spanned an 18-months period from August 2011 January 2013. The contained timestamps whenever uses each function, enables us identify based on intensity using a particular function...

The rapid, widespread adoption of cloud computing over the last decade has sparked debates on its environmental impacts. Given that alters dynamics energy consumption between service providers and users, a complete understanding impacts requires an investigation impact user side, which can be weighed against vendor side. Drawing production theory using stochastic frontier analysis, this study examines users’ efficiency. To end, we develop novel industry-level measure based cloud-based...
