This study investigated the relationship between neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (N/LPR) and its variability (N/LPRR) with 30-day 1-year mortality outcomes. A total of 7,443 patients from MIMIC-IV 2.2 database were included, 1,765 having multiple N/LPR measurements. Mortality at 1 year within 30 days served as primary endpoints. Patients stratified into four groups according to baseline N/LPRR quartiles. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves assessed predictive value for mortality....
Abstract Background A tracheal foreign body is a common airway aspiration that creates an emergency, which often causes unobserved respiratory problems and requires management. Iatrogenic bodies are rarely observed, results in obstruction. If the were removed from tracheobronchial system, it would save lives. similar case of was focused on, caused by medical glue used during preoperative computed tomography localization pulmonary nodules. Case presentation The deposited right upper bronchi,...
Abstract Background We aimed to evaluate a modified endotracheal tube containing upper and lower balloons for anesthetic administration among patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Methods Ninety scheduled undergo cholecystectomy were randomly allocated 3 equal groups: group A (conventional tracheal intubation without anesthesia); B with C (tracheal using catheter under study). Blood pressure, heart rate, angiotensin II level, blood glucose airway pressure before anesthesia (T1)...
Abstract Background Surgery on the contralateral or other lungs after pneumonectomy one side is highly challenging and complex. It critical to creating conditions for fluent surgical maneuvers while ensuring adequate ventilation a patient during such an operation in same chest cavity that appears incompatible. Case presentation We have reported herein case of who, following left pneumonectomy, underwent right upper pulmonary nodule wedge resection via video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery...
Objective To explore the impact of different doses dexmedetomidine on anesthetic sedative and analgesic effect anesthesia agents in hysterectomy patients with uterine fibroids under laparoscopy. Methods 90 ASA class Ⅰ or Ⅱ who were going to undergoing general intravenous laparoscopic selected they divided into group A (dexmedetomidine 0.4μg·kg-1·h-1, n=30) B 0.2μg·kg-1·h-1, C (no dexmedetomidine, by digital random method. The analgesia (VAS score) A, preoperation postoperative 1h, 12h...
