In this paper, we report on the fourth soft gamma-ray source catalog obtained with IBIS imager board INTEGRAL satellite. The scientific data set is based more than 70 Ms of high-quality observations performed during first five and a half years Core Program public observations. Compared to previous surveys, includes substantially increased coverage extragalactic fields, comprises 700 high-energy sources detected in energy range 17–100 keV, including both transients faint persistent objects...
The First G-APD Cherenkov Telescope (FACT) is designed to detect cosmic gamma-rays with energies from several hundred GeV up about 10 TeV using the Imaging Atmospheric Technique. In contrast former or existing telescopes, camera of FACT telescope comprised solid-state Geiger-mode Avalanche Photodiodes (G-APD) instead photomultiplier tubes for photo detection. It first full-scale device its kind employing this new technology. operated at Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos (La Palma,...
In this paper we report on the third soft gamma-ray source catalog obtained with IBIS/ISGRI imager board INTEGRAL satellite. The scientific data set is based more than 40 Ms of high-quality observations performed during first 3.5 yr Core Program and public observations. Compared to previous surveys, includes a substantially increased coverage extragalactic fields, comprises 400 high-energy sources detected in energy range 17-100 keV, including both transients faint persistent objects that...
The INTEGRAL Science Data Centre (ISDC) provides the data and means to analyse them scientific community. ISDC runs a gamma ray burst alert system that position of bursts on sky within seconds It operates quick-look analysis few hours detects new unexpected sources as well it monitors instruments. processes through standard results which are provided observers together with their data.
Aims. We study the spectrum of cosmic X-ray background (CXB) in energy range ~5-100 keV.
The First G-APD Cherenkov Telescope (FACT) is the first in-operation test of performance silicon photo detectors in Astronomy. For more than two years it operated on La Palma, Canary Islands (Spain), for purpose long-term monitoring astrophysical sources. this, crucial and therefore has been studied great detail. Special care taken their temperature voltage dependence implementing a correction method to keep properties stable. Several measurements have carried out monitor performance....
Abstract The SST-1M (webpage: https://sst-1m.space ) is a Small-Sized Telescope (SST) designed to provide cost-effective and high-performance solution for gamma-ray astrophysics, particularly energies beyond few TeV. goal integrate this telescope into an array of similar instruments, leveraging its lightweight design, earthquake resistance, established Davies-Cotton configuration. Additionally, optical system function without protective dome, allowing it withstand the harsh atmospheric...
Context.During the first year in operation, INTEGRAL, European Space Agency's γ-ray observatory, has detected more than 28 new bright sources galactic plane which emit bulk of their emission above 10 keV.
Time-resolved fluorescence depolarization is applied to investigate the association of sodium n-dodecyl sulfate (SDS) micelles with poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) in aqueous solutions using an amphiphilic fluorescent probe (3-perylenedodecanoic acid) which incorporated into SDS micelles. First, effect surfactant concentration was measured: presence polymer, above critical aggregation (CAC) SDS, rotational relaxation exhibits a slow and fast component. The time component same as polymer-free...
Context. The INTEGRAL hard X-ray observatory has revealed an emerging population of highly obscured binary systems through multi-wavelength observations. Previous studies have shown that many these sources are high-mass binaries hosting neutron stars orbiting around luminous and evolved companion stars.
We report the first high-energy survey catalog obtained with IBIS gamma-ray imager on board INTEGRAL. The analysis has been performed first-year Core Program ISGRI data comprising both Galactic Plane Scan and Centre Deep Exposure pointings for a total exposure time exceeding 5 Ms. This initial revealed presence of ~120 sources detected unprecedented sensitivity ~1 mcrab in energy range 20-100 keV. Each source is located to an accuracy between 1' 3', depending its brightness. outstanding...
In this paper we report the second soft gamma-ray source catalog obtained with IBIS/ISGRI imager on board INTEGRAL satellite. The scientific data set is based more than 10 Ms of high-quality observations performed during first 2 years Core Program and public observations, covers ~50% whole sky. main aim survey was to scan systematically, for time at energies above 20 keV, Galactic plane achieve a limiting sensitivity ~1 mcrab in central radian. target year mission lifetime expand as much...
Context.INTEGRAL, the European Space Agency's γ-ray observatory, tripled number of super-giant high-mass X-ray binaries (sgHMXB) known in Galaxy by revealing absorbed and fast transient (SFXT) systems.
Optical spectroscopic identification of the nature 21 unidentified southern hard X-ray objects is reported here in framework our campaign aimed at determining newly-discovered and/or sources detected by INTEGRAL. Our results show that 5 these are magnetic Cataclysmic Variables (CVs), 4 High-Mass Binaries (HMXBs; one which Large Magellanic Cloud) and 12 Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs). When feasible, main physical parameters for also computed using multiwavelength information available...
We present a deep study of the average hard X-ray spectra Seyfert galaxies. analyzed all public INTEGRAL IBIS/ISGRI data available on 165 galaxies detected at z<0.2. Our final sample consists 44 1's, 29 1.5's, 78 2's, and 14 Narrow Line 1's. derived spectrum each subsample in 17-250keV energy range. All classes show same nuclear continuum, as foreseen by zeroth order unified model, with cut-off Ec>200keV, photon index Gamma ~1.8. Compton-thin 2's reflection component stronger than 1's 1.5's....
Aims. We present an update of the 3C 273's database hosted by ISDC, completed with data from radio to gamma-ray observations over last 10 years. use this large set study multiwavelength properties quasar, especially focussing on its variability behaviour.
