Polyploidization is a common occurrence in the evolutionary history of flowering plants, significantly contributing to their adaptability and diversity. However, molecular mechanisms behind these adaptive advantages are not well understood. Through comprehensive phenotyping diploid tetraploid clones from Citrus Poncirus genera, we discovered that genome doubling enhances salt stress resilience. Epigenetic transcriptomic analyses revealed increased ethylene production roots plants was...

Inhalation of nitric oxide (NO) improved arterial oxygenation and enabled the reduction inspired oxygen therapy airway pressure support in patients with severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). In addition, chest radiography showed decreased spread or density lung infiltrates, physiological effects remained after termination inhaled NO therapy. These findings suggest not only a pulmonary vasodilator effect NO, but also an on SARS.

Tomatoes are a globally cultivated and popular vegetable. The output quality of tomatoes significantly influenced by the use organic fertilizers. It was discovered that fertilizers increase tomato productivity improve fruit quality. influence on yield is shown to be complex dependent soil matter, total nitrogen, kinds, other variables. In this review paper, we evaluated 769 data sets from 107 research papers determined can enhance 42.18%. Compared control group, soluble solids, sugar,...

With the aim to study flavor characteristics of Ningxiang pigs (NX), Duroc (DC) pigs, and their crosses (Duroc × Ningxiang, DN), electronic nose gas chromatography–mass spectrometry analysis were used detect volatile substances in NX, DC, DN (n = 34 per population). A total 120 detected three populations, which 18 common. Aldehydes main populations. Further revealed that tetradecanal, 2-undecenal, nonanal aldehyde kinds pork, relative content benzaldehyde populations had significant...

Tryptophan (Trp) has received increasing attention in the maintenance of intestinal function. In this study, improved triploid crucian carp (ITCC) fed diets containing 6.35 g kg −1 Trp had higher average daily gain (ADG) and villus height (VH) crypt depth (CD) intestine compared to control group. To elucidate potential mechanisms, we used RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) investigate changes transcriptome 16S rRNA gene measure microbiota response feeding ITCC. Dietary altered expression involved...

Acute lung injury (ALI) is a severe inflammatory disease with rapid onset. The anti‑inflammatory functions of microRNA‑93 (miRNA/miR‑93) have been described in various types tissue and disease. However, the biological role miR‑93 its molecular mechanisms underlying initiation progression ALI not yet reported, at least to best our knowledge. present study aimed investigate regulatory effects exerted by ALI. Using an vivo murine model induced lipopolysaccharide (LPS), expression was found be...

This study attempts to explore the suitable conditions for detection of volatile flavor compounds (VFCs) in Ningxiang pork by headspace solid-phase microextraction and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME-GC-MS). pigs were harvested from a slaughterhouse longissimus dorsi sample was collected each animal. The VFCs can be strongly impacted (columns, weight meat samples, heat treatment time, equilibrium conditions, extraction conditions) that need optimized. Our results also provided...

Contents Accumulating reports have demonstrated that microRNAs (miRNAs) participate in regulating the complex processes of animal testis development and spermatogenesis; yet, mechanisms by which miRNAs regulate spermatogenesis are poorly understood. miR‐26a was identified as a miRNA is differentially expressed among different pig testicular tissue developmental stages our previous study. In this study, p21 activated kinase 2 ( PAK2 ) gene determined one target luciferase reporter assay,...

Sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE) is a diffuse brain dysfunction caused by sepsis. Pyroptosis and autophagy are important mechanisms in the pathogenesis of sepsis, also pannexin-1 involved occurrence However, role SAE its relationship with pyroptosis unclear. This study examined between pyroptosis, further explore mice.A mouse model was established cecal ligation puncture (CLP).
