In this review study, efficacy and side effects of interferon alfa-2b (IFN-α2b) in treating the common ocular surface disorders is described. It was found that 1 million IU/mL topical alpha-2b administered four times daily effective various disorders, including vernal keratoconjunctivitis, Ocular squamous neoplasia, conjunctival papilloma, melanoma. The treatment showed a significant decrease symptoms signs diseases and, some cases, resulted tumor regression with high tolerance safety....

Hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome (HIES) or Job’s is a rare immunodeficiency disease with less than 200 cases reported worldwide, among which few are lesions due to herpes simplex virus (HSV) human papillomavirus (HPV). This case study presents of HIES coinfection HSV and HPV. A 12-year-old boy, previously diagnosed HIES, presented large conjunctival mass lesion. The presence HPV in the lesion was confirmed by biopsy using line-probe assay method detect genome. However, did not respond anti-HPV...
