The main aim of this study is to synthesize calcium silicate ceramics that exhibit suitable properties be used for biomedical applications. In the present work, attention was paid understanding processing-structure relationships. A particular effort made clarify identification Ca-O-Si bonds by means spectroscopy. systems were prepared via a sol-gel route, varying chemical compositions, catalyst concentration, and temperature time aging heat treatment. processes phases evolved during...
Biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) copolymer, PLGA nanoparticles (NPs) with a surface layer of poly (ethylene oxide)-poly(propylene oxide)-poly(ethylene oxide) triblock copolymers, Pluronics, are promising drug carrier systems. With the aim to increase potential targeted delivery end group derivative Pluronics was synthesized in straightforward way obtain Pluronic-amines.The formation functional amine groups confirmed by fluorescamine method and NMR analysis their...
Nanoparticles consisting of biodegradable poly(d,l-lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) are promising carriers for drug molecules to improve the treatment tuberculosis. Surface modifiers, such as Pluronic F127, essential biocompatibility and protection against particle aggregation. This study demonstrates a successful approach conjugate F127 coated PLGA nanoparticles with Tuftsin, which has been reported macrophage-targeting peptide. Transformation hydroxyl groups—which have limited...
Abstract We present facile methods to obtain purified sporopollenin exine capsules, and provide mass balances for classical novel purification procedures. An ionic liquid, tetrabutyl phosphonium hydroxide turned out be the most effective in removing intine wall. The capsules were investigated by fluorescent microscopy, AFM, solid-state NMR infrared Raman spectroscopy. latter two showed that sunflower rape exines have different proportions of O-aliphatic aromatic constituents. Purified coated...
Thin (ca. 340 nm) chitosan coatings were deposited onto glass substrates via dip-coating, then modified with the methanol solution of decanoic anhydride (0.17-56 mM). NMR, FTIR and XPS measurements confirmed that acylation degree increased from 18 % to 45 %, at highest degree, whole layer was acylated homogeneously by reagent molecules. The coating thickness (up 60 %), refractive index decreased (from 1.541 1.532) due acylation, determined UV-visible spectroscopy. AFM did not reveal...
Monolithic optically clear aluminosilicate and alumina gels can be prepared directly from aluminum nitrate (and tetraethoxysilane) dissolved in 1-propanol. The role of atoms the formation gel networks has been investigated by 27Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared spectroscopy, small-angle X-ray scattering measurements. In presence a cross-linking agent, Al incorporate network formed agent. structure is dominated silica network; bonded only modify that. Without are...
The structures of the diastereoisomeric salts (R)- and (S)-N-methylamphetamine bitartrates (RMERTA SMERTA) have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Comparison these crystal provides an insight into mechanism optical resolution via salt formation. very small difference between two indicates that specific interactions such as CH⋯O may play important role in molecular recognition.
Natural and substituted cyclodextrins (CDs), as well some calixarenes, have been investigated with respect to their solubilization of C60 in water. Underivatized γ-CD is proved unique solubilizing power among the possible complexing agents it produces stable solutions solids containing real 1∶2 complexes. The differences appearance (magenta or brown colour) are explained by hydration within supramolecule. composition structure complexes chemical analyses, X-ray diffraction, atomic force...
A novel derivative of aromatic polyethersulfone (PES) was obtained by bromination. Victrex PES reacted with bromine under various conditions: in solution, suspension, and without solvent; or catalyst; at low elevated temperatures. Practically no bromination occurred solution; the other cases, brominated PESs to extents were obtained. The degree substitution (DS) varied between 0.3 2.3. It found that catalyst is required for this reaction; temperature, concentrations polymer reaction mixture,...
Abstract During the past few years, general‐purpose graphics processing units (GPGPUs) have become rather popular in high performance computing community. In this study, we present an implementation of simulation dynamic nuclear magnetic resonance (DNMR) spectra. The algorithm is based on kinetic Monte Carlo method and therefore can benefit from multithreaded architecture GPGPU. By careful optimization a 30–100‐fold speed increase could be achieved. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Comput Chem, 2011
In situ IR and multinuclear NMR are used to monitor the formation of protonated diacetylketene tetrachloroaluminate (1) in reaction acetyl chloride AlCl3 both dichloromethane 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium ([bmim]Cl). The existence a fast equilibrium between two enolic forms (with [AlCl4]− as counterion) is established. structure 1 determined by rarely 13C{1H}–13C{1H} COSY experiment.
Low-density piezoelectric aluminosilicate aerogels were prepared by sol-gel technology. In order to reinforce the fragile aerogels, inorganic component was mixed with organic polymers (polyacrylic acid, polyvinyl acetate and polydimethylsiloxane) prior gelation. The strength of composite gels increases a factor two or three. piezoelectricity changes variously depending on kind content polymers. aerogel containing shows negligible piezoelectricity. use polydimethylsiloxane decreases 50%...
Absfracl -Studies on protonation ofthe title compound by DF and ab lnilio quantum chemical methods as well 13C-nmr relaxation measurements revealed that 0-protonation took place. The regiochemistry of nucleophilic displacement reaction 4.5-dichloro-2-methyl-3(2H)-pyridazinone (1) was found to be dramatically influenced strongly acidic medium, the with hydrobromic acid supposed proceed at N-1 basis unexpected formation 4-bromo derivative ' In this paper we describe our studies site 1We...
Trimethylsilyl N-(4-bromophenyl)carbamate, C10H14BrNO2Si, and trimethylsilyl N-tert-butyl-N-phenylcarbamate, C14H23NO2Si, are both important silylating agents. The structures of molecules dominated by a plane containing remarkably large number atoms. planes organized delocalization around the carbamate moiety. A quasi-pentacoordination Si atom in compounds is also described.
