New isomeric states in the neutron-rich nuclei near $Z\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}28$ and $N\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}=\phantom{\rule{0ex}{0ex}}40$ shell closures have been identified among reaction products of a $60.3A$ MeV ${}^{86}\mathrm{Kr}$ beam on ${}^{\mathrm{nat}}\mathrm{Ni}$ target. From measured decay properties information about excited their nuclear structure has obtained. The isomerism is related mostly to occupation neutron ${g}_{9/2}$ orbital, an intruder...

To investigate the behavior of N = 14 neutron gap far from stability with a neutron-sensitive probe, proton elastic and 2(1)+ inelastic scattering angular distributions for neutron-rich nucleus 22O were measured using MUr à STrip detector array at Grand Accélérateur National d'Ions Lourds facility. A deformation parameter beta(p,p') 0.26 +/- 0.04 is obtained state, much lower than in 20O, showing weak contribution to this state. microscopic analysis was performed matter transition densities...

In an experiment at the SISSI/LISE facility of GANIL, we used projectile fragmentation a ${}^{78}\mathrm{Kr}$ primary beam 73 MeV/nucleon to produce new isotopes astrophysical interest. We obtained clear evidence for existence five ${}^{60}\mathrm{Ga}$, ${}^{64}\mathrm{As}$, ${}^{69,70}\mathrm{Kr}$, and ${}^{74}\mathrm{Sr}$. However, did not find any ${}^{69}\mathrm{Br}$, whereas comparable nuclei were observed with more than 1000 counts. The isotope ${}^{69}\mathrm{Br}$ is thus deduced be...

A decay spectroscopic study of the neutron-rich isotopes has been performed using fragmentation a $^{86}\mathrm{Kr}$ primary beam. Fragments from this reaction have selected by LISE2000 spectrometer at Grand Acc\'el\'erateur National d'Ions Lourds (GANIL). Half-lives 29 isotopes, including first ones identified for $^{61}\mathrm{Ti}$ ($15\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}4$ ms), $^{64}\mathrm{V}$ ($19\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}8$ and $^{71}\mathrm{Fe}$ ($28\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}5$...

The yrast ${J}^{\ensuremath{\pi}}={8}^{+}$ states in neutron-rich $^{70,72,74,76}\mathrm{Ni}$ nuclei are predicted to be isomeric. present paper describes two GANIL experiments. In the first of them a search was made for ${8}^{+}$ isomeric $^{72,74}\mathrm{Ni}$ via fragmentation $^{76}\mathrm{Ge}$ using ion $\ensuremath{\gamma}$-decay correlation technique. Although these were not observed, limits their lifetimes determined. second experiment decay spectroscopy $^{70,72}\mathrm{Co}$...

The single-event effects response of three different III-V field-effect transistor technologies (GaAs MESFET, InAlAs/InGaAs HEMT, and AlSb/InAs HEMT) is measured for MeV GeV heavy-ion irradiation. These measurements reveal significant charge enhancement very slow, microsecond-timescale relaxation times the GaAs devices, with a much faster recovery from ionizing event observed HEMTs.

The structure of nuclei far from stability can be investigated by means in-beam gamma spectroscopy using both stable and radioactive beams. Two such experiments have been recently performed at GANIL. i) Secondary beams neutron-rich Ge, Zn Ni isotopes around N=40 were produced the fragmentation a primary 86 Kr beam, analyzed LISE3 spectrometer. For transitions between 0+ ground state first 2+ state, B(E2) values extracted Coulomb excitation cross-section measurement. Some obtained results...

Ion stopping experiments in plasma for beam energies of few hundred keV per nucleon are great interest to benchmark the stopping-power models context inertial confinement fusion and high-energy-density physics research. For this purpose, a specific ion detector on chemical-vapor-deposition diamond basis has been developed precise time-of-flight measurements energy loss.
