Since Last Glacial Maximum (23–19 ka), Earth climate warming and deglaciation occurred in two major steps (Bølling‐Allerød Preboreal), interrupted by a short cooling interval referred to as the Younger Dryas (12.5–11.5 ka B.P.). In this study, three cores (MV‐33, MV‐66, MD‐40) collected central part of Pandora Trough (Gulf Papua) have been analyzed, they reveal detailed sedimentary pattern at millennial timescale. Siliciclastic turbidites disappeared during Bølling‐Allerød Preboreal...
This study focuses on the sedimentary fill of basin 4, termination Brazos-Trinity minibasin slope system in northwestern Gulf Mexico. Results from multistratigraphic analyses 15 giant piston cores provided (1) important information regarding nature (hemipelagic versus gravity-induced mud and sand deposits) timing fill; (2) some key chronostratigraphic constraints for evolution this system; (3) strong links between well-known cycles sea level change to clearly imaged deposits 4....

Abstract In tropical and sub‐tropical mixed siliciclastic–carbonate depositional systems, fluvial input in situ neritic carbonate interact over space time. Despite being the subject of many studies, controls on partitioning sediments remains controversial. Mixed sedimentary records, from Ashmore Trough shelf edge slopes (southern Gulf Papua), are coupled with global sea‐level curves anchored to Marine Isotope Stage stratigraphy constrain models sediment accumulation at two different...
Summary Formation water salinity is a key parameter to determine saturation (Sw) from resistivity logs, and, consequently, estimate initial volume of hydrocarbon in place. Ideally, directly measured samples collected within the producing interval, however, such are not always recovered during drilling even when available, contamination mud or completion fluids can prevent measuring correct salinity. Here, we present fluid inclusion technique measure that be used as input for Sw calculation....
Summary We present an advanced petrophysical evaluation of a gas-condensate alluvial/fan-delta reservoir case study located in the southwestern Pannonian Basin. emphasized on extensive analysis lithofacies, fracture characterization, paleo-transport, permeability prediction, and rock typing. This is carried out using integrated subsurface data from image logs, conventional quad-combo core data, as well well-test machine learning implementation. In addition to petrophysics interpretation, we...
