In order to obtain a product with agronomic characteristics and biological stability consistent the EU fertilizer decree for market of fertilising products three different mixtures obtained from sludge digestate municipal wastewater treatment plant, fresh compost mature have been studied characterized. For experimental activity, raw samples mixing ones were collected analytical characterization. The was then assessed all using criteria such as Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate, Rottegrad...

Abstract Soluble humic substances and saline solutions (NaCl solution or compost water extract) were tested in laboratory experiments of fertigation. The used at two levels electrical conductivity (EC) (0.5 4 mS cm− 1); (HS) solubilized distilled concentrations as carbon (HC) (30 60 mg L− 1). A mixture NaCl with an EC 1 HC was also to evaluate if HS can reduce the effect on Lepidium sativum germination Maize growth. Germination tests carried out without soil, showed that best treatment HS....

A field experiment was carried out to evaluate the effects of some mulching materials on soil biochemical properties that represent a component quality and functionality. Wheat straw, dairy manure compost, black polyethylene were used in experiments seeded with forage maize. Soil samples taken from surface (0–10 cm) subsurface (10–20 layers 1 4 mo after treatments applied. productivity, chemical determined. Compost treatment showed highest agronomic yield due release nutrients for plant...

Two natural soil ecosystems, representative of agricultural management in a temperate Mediterranean climate, were selected: sandy located at Peccioli Farm, Pisa (Italy), and silt‐loam Salamanca, Muñovela (Spain). Within the systems, three areas sampled (0–10 cm) during dry season, each corresponding to different use: native undisturbed (NS), cultivated (CS, crop‐pasture rotation) intensively (ICS, monoculture). Total C, N, exchangeable metals (Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn), ATP, urease,...
