Abstract This paper presents the first continuous multi-proxy record of climate and vegetation change from central Namib Desert extending over much last ca. 39,000 years. Derived rock hyrax middens, evidence stable carbon nitrogen isotopes, pollen, microcharcoal reveals significant differences between glacial-age Holocene climates types.
