The elastic scattering of the radioactive halo nucleus 6He on 27Al target was measured at four energies close to Coulomb barrier using RIBRAS (Radioactive Ion Beams in Brazil) facility. Sao Paulo Potential(SPP) used and its diffuseness imaginary strength were adjusted fit angular distributions. Reaction cross-sections extracted from optical model fits. reduced reaction are similar those for stable, weakly bound projectiles as {6,7}Li, 9Be larger than tightly projectile 16O 27Al.
The elastic scattering of $^{6}\mathrm{He}$ on $^{120}\mathrm{Sn}$ has been measured at four energies above the Coulomb barrier using beam produced RIBRAS (Radioactive Ion Beams in Brasil) facility. angular distributions have analyzed with optical model and three- four-body continuum-discretized coupled-channels calculations. total reaction cross sections derived compared other systems similar masses.
Complete and incomplete fusion cross sections for the $^{9}\mathrm{Be}$ $+\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}^{181}\mathrm{Ta}$ system were measured at near barrier energies, using offline gamma ray spectroscopy method. The results compared with coupled channel calculations that do not take into account coupling of breakup channel, a double folding potential as bare potential. A complete suppression order 35% was found, energies above barrier, whereas total are in agreement calculations. ratio...
We report the results of measurements complete and incomplete fusion ${}^{9}\text{Be}+{}^{169}\text{Tm}$ $^{187}\mathrm{Re}$ systems at energies close to Coulomb barrier. The activation technique with detection offline gamma rays was used derive cross sections. By comparing experimental sections coupled-channel calculations that do not include breakup channel, we found suppression order 30% for both systems, slightly above This corresponds roughly measured fusion. also investigate a...
Double charge exchange (DCE) reactions could provide experimentally driven information about nuclear matrix elements of interest in the context neutrinoless double-β decay. To achieve this goal, a detailed description reaction mechanism is mandatory. This requires full characterization initial and final-state interactions, which are poorly known for many projectile-target systems involved future DCE studies. Among these, we intend to study 20Ne + 130Te 18O 116Sn at 15.3 AMeV, particularly...
We present angular distributions of the He6+Ni58 scattering measured at three bombarding energies above Coulomb barrier: Elab=12.2 MeV,16.5 MeV,and 21.7 MeV. The have been analysed in terms three- and four-body Continuum-Discretized Coupled-Channels calculations considering effect 6He breakup. A behaviour cross section large angles has observed which was reproduced only by calculation.
We investigate three of the most frequently used methods to reduce fusion and total reaction excitation functions. For this purpose, we apply them in two situations. First, consider theoretical cross sections obtained by single-channel calculations based on standard optical potentials. In case, are not influenced any particular nuclear property. Thus, method is successful if for different systems about same. case functions, found that function works very well, being much better than other...
New data for the $^{6}\mathrm{He}+^{9}\mathrm{Be}$ reaction at ${E}_{\mathrm{lab}}=16.2$ and 21.3 MeV have been taken analyzed. The effect of collective couplings to excited states target has studied by means coupled-channels calculations, using a double-folding potential bare interaction between colliding nuclei, supplemented with phenomenological imaginary part Woods-Saxon type. In addition, three- four-body continuum-discretized calculations performed investigate projectile breakup on...
We present $^{8}\mathrm{B}+^{27}\mathrm{Al}$ elastic scattering angular distributions for the proton-halo nucleus $^{8}\mathrm{B}$ at two energies above Coulomb barrier, namely ${E}_{\mathrm{lab}}=15.3$ and 21.7 MeV. The experiments were performed in Radioactive Ion Beams Brasil facility (RIBRAS) S\~ao Paulo, TwinSol University of Notre Dame, USA. measured range 15--80 degrees. Optical model continuum discretized coupled channels calculations performed, total reaction cross sections derived....
Elastic scattering angular distributions for ${}^{7}$Be, ${}^{9}$Be, and ${}^{10}$Be isotopes on ${}^{12}$C target were measured at laboratory energies of 18.8, 26.0, 23.2 MeV, respectively. The analysis was performed in terms optical model potentials using Woods-Saxon double-folding form factors. Also, continuum discretized coupled-channels calculations ${}^{7}$Be ${}^{9}$Be $+{\phantom{\rule{0.16em}{0ex}}}^{12}$C systems to infer the role breakup elastic scattering. For system, bound...
The collision $^{6}\mathrm{He}+^{120}\mathrm{Sn}$ has been investigated at four energies near the Coulomb barrier. A large yield of $\ensuremath{\alpha}$ particles detected, with around energy scattered $^{6}\mathrm{He}$ beam. and angular distributions have analyzed compared breakup neutron transfer calculations.
The elastic-scattering angular distribution for $^{8}\mathrm{Li}$ on $^{12}\mathrm{C}$ has been measured at ${E}_{\mathrm{LAB}}=23.9$ MeV with radioactive nuclear beam produced by the Radioactive Ion Beams in Brazil facility. This was analyzed terms of optical-model Woods-Saxon and double-folding S\~ao Paulo potential. roles breakup inelastic channels were also investigated cluster folding deformed potentials, respectively, through coupled-channels calculations. proton-transfer...
Elastic scattering angular distributions of the radioactive weakly bound $^{7}\mathrm{Be}$ on $^{27}\mathrm{Al}$ have been measured at energies near Coulomb barrier. The interaction optical potential is investigated by using different potentials. Total reaction cross sections also obtained.
Cross sections of $^{120}\mathrm{Sn}$($\ensuremath{\alpha}$,$\ensuremath{\alpha}$)$^{120}\mathrm{Sn}$ elastic scattering have been extracted from the $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-particle-beam contamination a recent $^{120}\mathrm{Sn}$($^{6}\mathrm{He}$,$^{6}\mathrm{He}$)$^{120}\mathrm{Sn}$ experiment. Both reactions are analyzed using systematic double-folding potentials in real part and smoothly varying Woods-Saxon imaginary part. The potential data may be used as basis for construction simple...
Full angular distributions for elastic and inelastic scattering of $^{11}\mathrm{B}$ on $^{58}\mathrm{Ni}$ have been measured at different bombarding energies around the Coulomb barrier. Measurement analysis with coupled-channel calculations performed first time a system tightly bound as projectile medium mass target. In these calculations, real part interaction potential between nuclei was represented by parameter-free double-folding potential. To avoid use an imaginary surface, several...
The dependence of the optical Cook potential on bombarding energies reactions involving $^{6,7}\mathrm{Li}$ projectiles has been analyzed. It found that, for occurring close to or below Coulomb barrier, depth imaginary should be reduced from value originally proposed by in order achieve better agreement with experimental elastic data.
