UNDERGRADUATE ORGANIC CHEMISTRY EXPERIMENT.In this work, an undergraduate organic chemistry experiment based on thermal cracking of glycerin is proposed.The reagent obtained as a by-product from the practice biodiesel synthesis, and allows reduction waste produced in lab.The main product was characterized by GC analysis acrolein.This substance also identified chemical derivatization 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazone, allowing combined identification synthesis derivative.
