Testing of ADC differential nonlinearity by the histogram method requires a signal generator with extremely low distortion and high stability. In this paper, new type stimulus is proposed, which simplifies task. The testing has an exponential form can be generated simply discharging capacitor across resistance. resulting digital samples from output tested allow estimation best fitted proper three-parameter method. histograms data record approximation calculation nonlinearity.

Dynamic nonlinear effects contribute significantly to analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) distortion. Volterra filtering can present an effective method for modeling and compensation of these phenomena. Considering a priori error model ADC allows us find efficient inverse correction. The method's effectiveness is demonstrated by experimental measurements.
