Four new species of Plega Navás, 1928 (Mantispidae: Symphrasinae) from Mexico are herein described and illustrated, namely P. mixteca sp. n. Oaxaca Jalisco, stangei Morelos Oaxaca, sonorae Sonora, spinosa Guerrero, Morelos, Nayarit, Puebla, Veracruz. Including these species, Plega's diversity raises to 17 which 12 recorded Mexico, one them, variegata 1928, is proposed as nomen dubium. A taxonomic key the known provided.
