Abstract In this study, we present an unprecedented reaction of BOPHY. Although tetrabrominated BOPHY ( BrBPH ) is known to give a substitution with amines, found that proceeds through addition mechanism in the dilute medium. Upon reaction, absorption and fluorescence bands decrease dramatically. We used newly presented for fluorimetric detection quantification amines. ‐adsorbed TLC plates were also utilized determination food spoilage.
Abstract We report a near‐IR fluorescence turn‐on chemosensing system for the selective detection of HSO 4 − anion in aqueous media. This utilizes equilibrium between fluorescent pyrylium salt and its non‐fluorescent diketone form. The compound we synthesized (λ flo =674 nm) rapidly converts to form medium (ethanol‐water : 1). provides proton inducing conversion pyrylium. Therefore, sensor responds presence by an increase fluorescence. change is linear within 20–55 μM range with limit 12.8...
The first example of direct α-cyanation a BODIPY core has been achieved on 3-(methoxycarbonyl)ethenyl BODIPY. structure α-cyanated was confirmed by X-ray analysis. Further cyanation took place the meso-carbon
Introduction: pH indicators have long been utilized for rapid determination, relying on color changes to indicate values. However, visual detection suffers from low sensitivity due the limitations of human eye. In this study, we explored use pyrylium compounds as indicators. Method: Three were synthesized, and their pH-dependent UV-Vis absorption investigated. studies revealed distinct changes, enabling function dual-transition The pKa values these can be tuned by changing substituent...
Pyrylium compounds are structures based on an oxonium heterocycle that has been extensively studied thanks to their superior absorption and fluorescence properties. In this study, pyrylium salts were first shown be obtained in the solvent-free medium. Six compounds, three of which novel, synthesized using method. These have different auxochromes phenyl groups at 2,4 6 positions. final step, photophysical properties these examined effects basic photophysics revealed.
