Catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs) are the most common device-associated healthcare-acquired and pose a significant burden on patients healthcare systems worldwide. However, there is paucity of data CAUTI epidemiology microbiology in Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, including Lebanon.
To report the microbiological profile of pathogens implicated in blood stream infections (BSI) hospitalized coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients and to examine risk factors associated with multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs) causing BSI.Between March 2020 September 2021, 1647 were COVID-19 at American University Beirut.
