The effect of drying air temperature on the mechanical properties corn kernels was investigated. Corn dried at temperatures 40, 50, 60 and 70°C flow rate 1.8 kg/min in a convective dryer. were then loaded uniaxially material testing machine loading 3 mm/min, up to rupture point. An increase from 40 increased kernel deformation point by an average 12%. Moreover, values force, stress, toughness, modulus elasticity decreased 21, 26, 36, 38%, respectively.
